Thats' correct imo. But robben doesn't need to act like he's got a rocketlauncher up his ass.. And i hate that diving from him, and that acting like if he was shot with a shotgun
-
Im not really sure mate....Sounds better with more than half the ball, but i think it is the hole ball...impossible to know for sure without givig the refs some video help
-
The hole ball needs to be over (or?)..And that one was not, not going by that picture anyway..

You think that should of been a penalty? No way in hell that was a penalty...If you meant that situation when he got pushed in the back and threw himself on the ground..Was it Carvalho who pushed him a "little" ?? But when you consider what free-kicks they got... yes i agree that they got many silly freekicks. But if we would of got a penalty for the push against sibierski it would of been an even worser decision by the referee than those freekicks chelsea got all the time..Thrust me, i was pissed of wit the ref. But it still shouldn't been a penalty for that little push

Glenn Hysén (former liverpool CB) praised our defense, especially taylor and ramage in the middle and also thought that solano and huntington did quite well for not normally playing in those positions... Im glad that Taylor is playing so so well these days..But also ramage has done quite well, not as good as taylor but still... One hell of a shot martins i must say, too bad he often was lonely

Might as well klose this thread (ffs im sounding like a newspaper) bluebiggrin.gif

Zdenek Grygera is going to leave ajax this season (in the summer at the latest). from what i have seen of him he's a really good player. But it seems like he's on his way to Italy. But worth a try. His contract ends in the summer and he has already stated that he wont sign a new. Would be good value for money. I would also go for Robert Kovac. One other cheap option i believe. Leftback i dont know really.. This would give us experienced players with quality for a low price i believe... Grygera Kovac Taylor ??? (maybe jankulovksi but i dont think he's available atm)
-
That's some positive thinking...
-
How much would he cost?? You never know with Coleman...But Collins John isnt exactly a important player for fulham now...I said no thanks earlier in this thread. But that depends on the fee...
-
I would like Robert Kovac on loan or for a low price (cb)..And leftback's are difficult really, especially in the middle of the season..
-
I actually bet on the result against arsenal on highbury with a 3-1 win. Won me around £100 ....Not bad betting imo bluebiggrin.gif Lucky as hell..
-
If we can afford a good CB (full backs a must) I would much rather go for Robert Kovac or Wes Brown...Robert Kovac should not be too expensive and has great experience...I do believe we could get him for a quite low price...Not the youngest though..
-
3-1 to us.... Duff, Martins, Dyer - Defoe Duff back to his best...

Just saw a quick interview with Martins after the Blackburn game (was it with bbc??) and that's the first time ever that i heard Oba speak..Shy little guy he seems to be? bluebiggrin.gif .... but in this short clip he was asked if it was his best goal for Newcastle and he looked so shy and looked like a young player bluebiggrin.gif So happy for him and Newcastle that he's starting to show what he's capable of...

Im more worried about Bolton and Everton away than Spurs and Man Utd at home..

Yep, you're right. Havent heard any bad stories lately. I didint know he had a child. People can change. But I also think he keeps on playing for Inter. Maximilian or something is the name of the kid...
-
Zlatan is playing very well these days...Not that we could get him or afford him and he wouldn't change inter for us (i know you were not serious about him either) But i agree. He would be a ideal partner for martins.. Everybody said before this season that he was VERY overrated (because of one bad season)
-
Martins was not a 9 by his performance. But i think he played well. Strong and was a worry for their defence, they had respect for him as a player you could see. And he won some balls from the chelsea players after tracking back with strenght and balance. I would give him 7,5

I think we stood up well. Hade hopes for a draw the hole game... Hopefully zoggys injury isn't too bad. Twisted knee? =( Some good signs through the game...
-
It's easy to get a serious injury if you are rushed into heavy activity...Just like Owen with his last injury :wullie: Not that it had much to do with this thread....But i meant that he shouldn't of played in the WC..Of course easy to say afterwards, but still..

The Swedish league winners Elfsborg (my home team in Boras) had quite a few injurys before, probably one of the sides in the league that had most injurys. Then a while ago (maybe 2 years ago) they took in a new fitness coach.....After that there's hardly been any injurys at all. Except knocks and so on, hardly any muscle injurys or anything like that..
-
I will be as excited as usual....Hopefully we can stand upp quite well despite all injurys and who knows from that. But i dont really expect anything from this game...But wont give up on it..

Beattie is proven to be shit imo. I would rather have him or another cheap striker and use the rest of the money to build a good team/squad to begin with. Then after the summer having a look at it which strikers too keep and which to get rid of of... I would rather have two good fullbacks instead of a expensive striker..That would be the best deal for the club at this moment i think. Two good fullbacks would be better for our team than one expensive striker and poor fullbacks (yes i know solano has done really well) It's hard to find fair prices on players in the middle of a season, ESPECIALLY strikers..
