In an ideal world i'd like 2 CB's as well, but if i had to chose i would go for a LB instead of another CB. A quality LB with end product makes such a massive difference! So does having two good CB as well, but not to the same degree imo. Our CBs have been absolute f***ing dogshit for the last few seasons though. Whereas Haidara has promise. I get your point, maybe i'm thinking like this because there's not a fucking chance we'll get 2 CB. Also, while i do agree that all we have is shit, one of them mig actually perform better than before with a quality centre half next to him in a functioning team.

I wouldn't want us to go for a pure DM if that's what you mean by "proper sitter". Yes, has to be decent defensively and have good positioning, but most of all he has to be able to distribute the ball very well and spray it around, playing triangles with the two more offensive central midfielders. As long as we press the opposition correctly, as a team, trying to win the ball high up the pitch.

Personally i think he's an improvement, especially if we're looking to have more possession in our games. Sissoko doesn't offer much unless we're on the break and he has a lot of space to run in to/with the ball. I doubt we'll go with only two more central type of midfielders anyway, we don't have the players to play 4-4-2 for example. When the opposition defends more deeply i don't think Sissoko is effective at all. I'd say Wijnaldum has better technical skills than Sissoko, even though he might not be super creative like some other players. Intelligent movement as well from what i've seen (which isn't a lot tbh)

IF we do get Mitrovic and keep Cissé i would rather see us go for a top quality LB than another striker. Would like both of course. I doubt we're looking at LB, but we should!
