  1. I am waiting to see what responses people are going to make to the statement by KK that he rates Viduka very highly and would like to have played alongside him....after some of the comments about him in the past, are the critics now going to say KK is wrong, or that , as KK rates him, they have changed their minds.!!???

I got faith in KK's coaching abilities, so let's see how Viduka plays for him... I've had absolutely no faith in SA. So then, should I ask the same question?

So all the people who said we should give SA some time before the sack have to admit that they were wrong? Or do they have to say that Mike Ashley got it wrong? I am sick of all these blind-faith-pro-allardyce guys (which was the majority of the forum)... :-)

And beside that fact, YES, I still think that Viduka and Owen don't offer much (despite their reputation for scoring goals/being the best holder of the ball). But , let's see...

  2. We can have 100 million in the bank for transfers but we still wouldnt get Berbatov, Carrick etc-absolutely no reason for them to move if they are playing regularly for a top 4 team. I would rather we get to 42 points write this season off and then go for it next season. Then we can look at players playing for Valencia/Sevilla who look unlikely to get into the Champions lge next season and may have to sell.

Berbatov is playing for a top 4 team? No, wait...it's Tottenham! :-)

  3. If it bears any factor on the SWP story, his dad Ian Wright was on Talksport a few months ago talking about teams he wished he'd played for.

He said his biggest regret was never playing for "Newcastle United", and said that the passion of the fans and how much it means to everyone here were the reasons.

    mouthwatering... :-)

  4. Jermain Defoe is bordering on unrealistic? There are three better striker than him at the club already.

i just cannot figure this one out - who is the third?

    owen and martins... and then?

Viduka. He will need to be replaced soon but currently i would rather have him in the team than Defoe.

What did Viduka do, since his arrival... Yeah I know about his ability to hold the ball up, but it's very ineffective. I am disappointed with him so far...

  5. Poor mans Martin Britain. Get rid.

This was meant to be funny, right? Hope so... :-)

Probably but he could be s*** for all we know. He had a promising (nothing more) performance as a sub against Stoke. Not difficult to look good given what went before either. The point being let's not get carried away.

agreed, but he's definitely better than Brittain...

  6.

NUFC06 is alright, man.. his comments were sometimes awkward, due to his poor english, but he is otherwise harmless and he cares for the club..

anyway, what exactly did he say?

.. and while we're at it, isn't the NSG ban a bit harsh? of course i don't know what happened, but maybe it would be wise to allow him back after a certain period of time

oh, and in case there is some kind of rule for OT - Diarra would fit perfectly at pompey.

    zzzzzz

  7. Probably get nothing but "SHEARER SHEARER SHEARER" and " THERE'S ONLY ONE KEVIN KEEGAN" all fkn night..

thats nailed on to happen. and ul here people saying things like Deschamps is just another Guillt etc

Probably the same people who wanted the "brit" Sam Allardyce because of his results with Bolton (but forgot the way they did)... Lunatic! Would love DD to manage Newcastle, especially with Zola as his No2 :-)

  8. He's got only himself to blame.

you know a lot about addictions ?

gambling like that is an addiction and you lot are stupid

Beat me to it! At least there seem to be one who uses his brain... :-)

  9. another option :

"Croatia, particularly this September, will be exhausted after Euro 2008 and may well be learning the ways of a new coach. By then, the highly regarded Slaven Bilic may have resigned to take up a Premier League post."

Better than many choices imo.  Possibly inferrior to jose and hiddinck though.

Get him in... Young and very hungry.
