I just can't understand how anyone has a "second favourite club" what the f*** is that all about.
agreed

I want us to go after young players who are hungry and keen to establish themselves, not players who are just coming here for the money and the nightlife.
Talk of Ronaldinho, Nani, Deco etc. doesn't interest me any more and for the most part it's completely unrealistic. I'd far rather we bought lesser known players and watched them emerge, and develop into stars under Keegan. That's far more exciting than signing a Ronaldinho for £50m, paying him £120,000 per week and watching him become a shadow of the player he used to be.
Hopefully Vetere can work his magic in the summer and bag us a few gems from Portugal, South America, Eastern Europe etc. (But no more Frenchies or Spaniards).
Funny that Spaniards and Frenchies only fail in the north east...
Oh sorry, they only fail at Newcastle...

On the plus side, it does look as if the new scouting network is identifying decent targets if Chelsea are now sniffing round.
I fuckin hate that shite club without a history more than anything else...

OK, now before you say, this is not an Arsenal forum, but in general
Would ANY "Personal Reasons" stop you from playing in the fa cup 5th round against Old Trafford, and it would be the first time you had played at Old Trafford!
Oh come on, please don't tell me, that you haven't got nothing in your "non-football-reality" that is really important... :-)
-
id disagreewith that to be honest, its a league with the biggest clubs and a faster pace, spznish football maybe techincallybetter but there are far too many inconsistent teams in there bar the top 2 or 3. id much rather watch the best that the PL offers over th best la liga does.

Cheers for the bit in brackets swissmag. I'd have been scratching my head confused without it.
(I knew what you meant anyway)
Thought that it might me a bit pointless, but a foreign language is always difficult when it comes to jokes. Glad, you did get it anyway... ;-)

So people wouldn't take Wes Brown on a free as a back up to Beye?! Jesus Wept, who were you thinking of getting as cover? Steve Finnan?
I'd rather we kept Taylor as cover in general. He can play at right-back just as well as Wes Brown. I wouldn't want Wes Brown in our starting line-up. I think he's dogshit.
Clap clap clap
I suggest you don't bring your personal problems into the forum.
Eh?

Brown's miles better than Carr. More versatile too. And I don't particularly rate Brown.
It would be the same to hope we'll get Silvestre, because he is arguably more solid than Peter Ramage. And Smithy is also VERSATILE... :-/
Don't you mean volatile ?
Supposed to be versatile (when it comes to different positions). I am not even trying to mention his volatility... :-)
I would say being a versatile player means to be good in different positions in a variety of formations, I can't think of a position or formation where Smith has been any good.
I am with you... :-)

considering Brown only knows how to kick a ball to the opposition, I wouldn't touch him.
We've got enough of those already.
Beat me to it... :-)

The role model bit is bollocks. We're in trouble if we hold footballers up as role models. He should be treated like anyone else.
absolutely true...but now I have to go for a horsebet and a nice roasting afterwards! :-)

His car is the only fast thing left... (Legs have gone)

I get it now........you're Swiss. I thought you were talking about the Man City v. Man Utd game so i was wondering why you were referring to Man City as 'us' when you're name is SwissMAG
FFS! Apologies for being a dumbass!
No, you're absolutely spot on, mate. Saw both games and mixed them up somehow. So, he was the only ManU player giving service to the Citeh players... Am I drunk, FFS. Thanks anyway, teacher. :-)
Meh! I think what we're both trying to say is that Wes Brown is rubbish.
Agreed... (I can always use the "I am Swiss" apology, when I made a mistake)

Wes Brown was the worst player on the pitch for England when we played Switzerland. He just looked completely lost.
I'm not convinced he'd be an improvement on what we have, and i'd steer clear of former Man Utd players altogether if i was Keegan.
Even worse on Sunday.
He had an absolute stinker. Was the only one who gave service to our players... (ours included) Hands off!!!

He's a competent centre half. But he's never a right back. Defender, not a footballer.
karim benzema anyone? could fancy a more to the prem.
Not realistic. Niether are several other names mentioned such as Yaya Toure, Diego, van der Vaart, Carrick and Dunne.
I don't see the reason why Dunne should be unrealistic?!?! Oh wait, who are you supporting again? :-) But I agree with any of the other names...

Anyday, but at which price??? No way he would join NUFC...
-
Of courst I would love NUFC to get Diego or VDV, but for me, only Deco seems realistic somehow. The other two are playing every 90 mins in teams which are destined for the CL. Barca is a different story to Werder and HSV...
-
Does everybody on here think it is a physiscal problem??? I got the feeling that it has something to do with motivation/will to do it...
-
That Dunne article is shocking.
Why?

Fuckin hate that "support your local team" bullshit... I want to support a team that entertains me. I don't give a fuck, where they're from...
