That's how it's looked to me, but at the end of the day if we are losing games then it just looks like incompetence. I don't know if they have hired the right CEO or DOF, but those guys are answerable for results, and they aren't going to blame themselves after ploughing so much money in.

Howe is being judged on the football we are playing or lack of it. We've spent enough to be performing better than Palace or Sunderland, but hand on heart you can't see it on the pitch.

That's me as well. I don't think Tonali is top level tecnically tbh, but he's still a good player who gets about the pitch and puts a good shift in. I just don't think we'll get value for him if we sell, and we might end up spunking £50m on another pile of shit like we did in the summer.

I don't think the players believe in it any more. We've been schooled a few times by the best passing sides in Europe, and even the poor ones can match us for physicality in the Premier.

Both Howe and Emery were great picks for where we were tbh. It gets exponentially harder once you reach the cartel imposed ceiling.
