Three guys I work with are Liverpool fans. This morning was unbearable. They’re all really nice about it, it’s just hard watching people be happy because of football. This has to be it, right? We can now dispense with the Football board of this forum? Liverpool and Spurs in the Champions League final, a battle of utterly insufferable bastards on the grandest stage of them all. There is no longer even theoretical hope that football will ever be good again for NUFC and all our fans hate one another We can pack up, right? I’ve even watched some postseason basketball games, man. Anyway, two good teams in the final. Should be decent to watch. I’ve come to believe that every team’s fanbase are predominantly cunts (ours included) so I don’t really have any particular dislike for any teams. Would have been nice for Ajax to do it before that team gets gutted but it wasn’t to be.

Barca probably need to commit a year to a full on rebuild. 7 of their starting 11 last night are the wrong side of 30 and it showed once the going got tough. Aside from maybe Alba they need to get rid of all the 30+ guys and build a young, energetic team around Messi for his last few years. Will they get rid of Valverde?

Cardiff losing yesterday was terrible for Liverpool, they could really have done with Brighton needing a result on the final day. They probably won’t as Cardiff aren’t likely to win at Old Trafford even if they beat Palace next week. Really would like Liverpool to win it. Don’t get the whole “Their fans will be unbearable, they’re wankers” argument. Every fanbase is mostly made up of cunts on the whole at the end of the day really, ours included.
