It's nothing to do with respect, he's diminishing the return he's going to get on AC by shopping him so openly. It wouldn't be all that hard to just tell him & his agent that he's not wanted, and it's time to start telling the world you need a 'new challenge' or some shit. There are just plenty of other, more sensible, options available that'd result in significantly better business by LFC.

I look forward to seeing how he does at right back.

Nah I'm not that patriotic (only on July 4th, history's greatest day). And the banter doesn't bother me all that much. You just seem to be a major cunt about it all the time. No need tbh.

Can you try and not mention America or American things for a few days? Mistake.
-
this kid is on America crack

In my experience these run bigger than most previous shirts. Though my snide version is much smaller. Though, I will conceed that 'bigger' is mainly longer in this instance. Tight on the arms, long on the body. Mebs I'm just ripped in the gun area. nah

It's a Brit term tbf... Obviously the term is not used in the manner you chose to use it. Dave is English, you are not, you cannot tell him whether the term is correct or not. You're wrong! (again)

I think you can breathe easy for the next month at least.

They don't even need a decent one! You could find someone straight out of high school who could design SOMETHING. They just choose not to.
-
eh? only 1? But Tiote is in there, so Catts must be ahead of him. Where does that leave Sess!? i'm rattled
-
There are a million ways of shopping players without saying "we want rid asap no matter what". Mr Sewell is well aware of that.
-
Even if I agreed that the best solution is AC out the door, this would still be a god awful way of going about it. He's significantly reducing any potential transfer fee.
-
But Bouma is the best defender they've had there for years. Injuries aside. [/massiveassumptionbutcantthinkofanyoneelsethatsbeenhalfdecentforvillainsometime]

My take on this is that we know fuck all about any details of a transfer/loan. Same applies to Debuchy. By all means discuss the pros and cons of having such players on our team, but it just seems daft discussing financial terms when we don't know anything. And probably never will.

I WON'T GET TO SEE ALAN HUTTON?!?? Time to demand my season ticket monies back
-
And he's injury prone. And he's decent but not as amazing as people seem to think he is.
-
The notion of being a laughing stock is always a bag of shite from where I'm sitting. Clubs make poor decisions all the time, yet I can't think of anyone who I really think of as a "laughing stock", with exception to filthy Sunlun, but that's something that anyone outside the area probably doesn't see anyway.
-
Whilst I've no real desire to see him back, it'd be really fucking funny to have him back on loan with an option to sign him for some measly fee. So conflicted.
-
You added a bit: Point is, no, he's not playing like he deserves DP money. But I think your perceptions are probably skewed because of it. Still a serviceable player for Union. ..... .... Nah. He still wouldn't be anywhere near my XI. McInerney, Pajoy, Martinez, Marfan, Torres & Hoppenot are all better options than Adu in attacking positions. Keon Daniel too. I guess.
-
All nonsense. Sorry I offended your sensibilities. Don't get your panties in a bunch. I don't think Adu is a poor player. You think wrong. He's really shit. I think he's stuck in an organization that A) didn't utilize him properly for a long while He has started the majority of games since he signed. He has played many different roles across midfield, including his 'preferred' AMC... he is shit in all of them. B) went off the deep-end to nuttyville before they finally fired Nowak. Novak is shit and did shit stupid things, including tactically and transfer-wise. Cannot argue with that. However, Adu was shit before Novak lost the locker room, and has been shit since. Subbed at HT yesterday also. That squad as a whole is pretty garbage since they lost Le Toux, Califf, Mapp, Paunovic, and Ruiz. The squad is young, not garbage. There is certainly some crap, i.e. the players that Novak chose to get in to replace half-decent players, but they've got enough decent players to deal with many teams in the MLS. Of the players you mention, only Le Toux and Califf are worth mentioning. Mapp was decent, but greatly limited (as shown last night). Paunovic was just shit and old as fuck, and whilst Ruiz could score the odd goal, he is a liability in a team that isn't shitting all over the opposition 100% of the time. He's Michael Owen. Hackworth seems to have turned things around. When Adu has suited-up for the U.S. team over the past year, he's had some great play. I have not seen Adu for the US, but he hasn't been in the last few squads, correct? Mainly I just didn't have a reply to this bit, but my redness thing needed to look tidy.
-
He should go to Stoke. Upfront with Crouch, imagine it.
-
Shit reply. Of course it's a shithole, but that is one of the shittest things I've ever read. The "kid" is a fucking cancer. He'd be nowhere near the XI/18 if it wasn't for his ridiculous contract.
-
Also, this seems like a god awful way of getting any decent return for this guy. I mean obviously they were immediately gonna lose 15-20m on him... but if it's common knowledge that they want him shopped asap, then they're gonna get pennies.
