He missed a pen against Everton with his left foot. It was just a shit penalty whichever foot he took it with. It didn't matter which foot because of the manner he did his run up. The run up was always neutral so he could pick which foot to shoot with at the last moment. Needless to say, this is an awful idea. If he just ran up to the ball with the idea of twatting it in the top corner with his left foot, he'dve done a lot better.

tbf only the thread originator said anything remotely bad, for the most part the SMB has been full of praise for Sir Bobby, and rightly so.

Personally I don't think this matters. Bobby will have seen the club at its highest and lowest points over his many many years and will understand the volatile nature of a football club. While obviously he'dve loved to see us prosper, everything in football is pretty temporary tbh.

I'm so glad he got to see the game the other day. He got to see the whole of the NUFC world show their respect for him, and got to help fellow cancer sufferers through his foundation. Will be sorely, sorely missed.
