  1. I'm astounded that this is an actual serious discussion.
  2. Oh my lord, just look at their scoring records ffs. Huntelaar is in a whole different class to Crouch.
  3. Unlike you i don't have boners over fancy European names and i actually look at the bigger picture. Did i say Crouch was a better player than Huntelaar? no i didn't. Crouch will suit our system more though and i think i'm in a better position to make that call then you are. You'd prefer AIDS over the Flu because you don't like sneezing? best metaphor ever tbh

Graham Norton, Bruno and Christian from Eastenders. Your reference to 'Christian from Eastenders' is far gayer than the kit itself could ever be. you're right, should have said dan b. Maybe you should've said YOUR MOTHER

  6. Because its going to cripple the league, what happens all these wankers get bored. Depends what you mean by get bored. I don't forsee him ever pulling funding out of Manchester City as far as running costs go. Perhaps transfer market funds will have to be self-funded, but ultimately, the amount of money he has to put in for wages etc is so negligble that it's not even a blip on his financial radar. So man city are going to rule the football world forever because he has so much money to hand. Brilliant. Well, they still have to play the game of football you know? Whilst hoovering up all the talent and offering stupid wages to players, which humps up all the other wage demands. Brilliant aye. Never said it was brilliant, but it's not quite the doomsday that eveyone seems to have convinced themselves it is. Not doomsday but it makes it even more difficult for any team to progress when you have a fat chelsea or fat man city hoying money about like no ones business paying over the odds for players and the wages. It does make it harder, but there are enough players around for it not to be a huge killer imo. It's not like its all that far flung from the current 'top 4' status anyway. At least as far as domination in the game goes.
  7. are you fucking kidding me?

  12. Why do you all care about the money so much! Nothing should suprise people with regards to City. I'm suprised they haven't bid £200m if they really really wanted him. Mr Sheik dude could comfortably pay Terry £1m a week if he so desired.

Yes they do, and this discount was available from the day the kit was shown to the public. Discounted for a limited time only etc. It's just more media shite.
  15. No, rather than crossing out those three words (you're right - we DO have a lot of players tho') you should have added "overpaid, underperforming, egotistic, poseurs" too My point was that all the words above are pretty much representative of the modern day footballer. They are inferred when the term footballer is used. Same goes for your extra words too!
  16. You should see if you can throw Senderos into the deal too..
  17. AC Milan are poised to make a £10m bid for Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner. (Daily Express) I wonder if they would accept such an offer..
  18. Wasn't really given much time tbh. In a period where Madrid weren't exactly doing well.
  19. haha I take it thats a no! (that was an actual question, not just a piss-take btw!)
  20. Did Bale win a game in the end?

    Isn't it...

When have the highs been very high? The lows are lower than any other football club on the planet, the highs are moderate at best. depending on your age, we've had a few title challenges, a few cup finals/charity shield, a few runs in the champions league, other european football often, broke a world record which led to shearer scoring 206 goals to break another record. forgive my positivity but i love all that s***. I remember all that yes, and I loved them at the time, but no way were the highs then as high as the lows are low at the minute, the only thing that is as high as a relegation is low, is winning a trophy, which I have never seen, the lows have very much outweighed the highs in my lifetime, and I've been supporting Newcastle almost 20 years... I'm with your way of thinking. I'm a lot more negative than many people though, I'll readily admit that.
