I agree that Sol Campbell should play against Stoke, they're the tallest team in the league and Williamson and Coloccini are not exactly the most physical defenders
-
WLWWW
Maybe a draw at Upton Park, but we should win the 3 home games.
-
His boat has sailed.
-
Would play
Krul
Raylor
Enrique
Campbell
Williamson
Jonas
Smith
Tiote
Ranger
Lovenkrans
Ameobi

I would easily have sold the first 5 games for seven points.
My guess before the season would probably have been LDDWL
I just hope we don't f*** it all up again on sunday against Stoke....
-
He was brilliant today, he's fast, strong and a has great passing skills, much better than Smith, based on today...

My mate just had this made today

Routledge can't make a decent cross... it's like watching Dennis Rommedahl...
-
I remember reading Stig Toftings book, where he described Sam Allardyce when he was in Bolton.
He said that if Bolton were behind at halftime, then Allardyce would spend the whole break yelling and screaming at the players, telling them how poor they were and everything instead of telling them what to do better

I'm sure it'll be the same lineup again, sadly
-
Unchanged lineup, would hate it, but I think Hughton won't make any changes.
-
“They come with big support but that’s about all really. They had a fluke result against Villa but if you look at the team, by and large it’s very similar to the one that went down.
“There’s been a lot of hype about Andy Carroll, I’ve watched him for two or three years in the Under 18s and the reserves and to be honest I think for top class players like Distin and Jagielka I don’t think he really is that much of a threat.”
-
I was a Britannia watching the game today and watching Pulis come running in for the second half was tremendous considering the loss of his mother.
-
Everton must be full of confidence after today.... can't see us winning this one...
-
I was happy with keeping the same starting XI, my issues with him is the fact he didn't change anything at half time and left anything else too late.
This

After todays performance, oh yes, but as Dave, I believe that we are better than that...
-
Agree to the title of this thread
-
Well that turns our 6-0 win to s***. Makes it pretty pointless.
huh?
I'd rather have beat Villa 1-0 and won this one too.
I'd rather have lost to Villa and beaten Blackpool
-
The worst thing is that Hughton will probably play the same team on saturday
-
Up next is Campbell replacing Carroll....
-
Hope Everton doesn't play like that on saturday

He is fast becoming a heroic figure for me and is someone I am actually quite pleased to be associated with NUFC because he's a good guy, a football man and someone you just know who wakes up every morning with a buzz because he's managing Newcastle United, in a similar vein to Sir Bobby but of course for entirely different reasons. He is very knowledgeable and with it sensible which is how I'd describe his buys and team selections, he's a steady eddy and just what this club needs. To be f***ing honest with you what he has achieved and in the circumstances is some f***ing going and he deserves far more credit, far more. In a way though I'm glad its all low key because it keeps everyone and everything grounded. I'd love to hear a full crowd singing his name out loud like. Perhaps at the end of the season should we stay up?

Keeping Man Utd, Aston Villa and Everton down to 11 shots is a decent record.
