Don't believe for a second it's fake. If Ashley wanted rid of Rafa whilst not spending any money on new players he'd just do what he's done and let Rafa go whilst putting out stories of being unable to meet Rafa's demands (can't sign players without the manager staying of course). There's also no benefit to BZG pretending to want to buy NUFC after failing to buy Liverpool for 6x the price. Takeover bid is undoubtedly real. Issue is whether Ashley will agree to the sale.

Sad, but still hope of life after Rafa for NUFC if there's a takeover. He's not the only good manager in world football, and with rich/competent/ambitious owners in charge we'll get a good enough replacement eventually. Maybe even a chance of Rafa being reappointed under the new owners. If a replacement manager gets appointed under Ashley it means the takeover is dead in the water and Ashley has zero intention of selling.

Pussy Horlicks for the win. I always used to think Horlicks was a product name someone came up with whilst a whore going down on them, like a sneaky and ambiguously promiscuous way to immortalise being a horny bugger (like musicians who sing dirty lyrics that are ambiguous enough to have kids sing along), but turns out it's just the guys family name. This song is 100% about a huge big helmet that goes through tacos like the monster in Tremors. "Too big, it wont fit, he walks like that cos he can back it up". Some people are so lucky.

AIDS is curable now though.

Chocolate covered nobs, yes please.

"Best player on the pitch" followed by "played very safe". Jack Colback early NUFC "good" form all over again.

These are great for dunking. The best collection of biscuits, £3 in Tesco/Morrisons/Sainsbury, worth every penny.

If hot birds like the tim tam slam you know it's good. But there's one biscuit sold here in the UK that is the absolute dogs bollocks when it comes to dunking in hot drinks. Nothing comes close to it. Unfortunately like Caulkins 2nd interested party I can't reveal the name of this biscuit, some things are best kept secret.

Most likely the cake, I've had it twice (as in 2 x the whole cake) and each time had some ghandis revenge. It has beef gelatin in it, maybe I'm slightly allergic to it, but I did have both cakes over a few days so maybe I stretched the eat within X days after defrosting a bit too far.

On the topic of jaffa cakes, Tesco does a frozen "Jaffa Cake" dessert that is very moreish. It's got the sponge, the orange jelly and a very thick sticky chocolate layer on top, but in addition has a good creamy vanilla orangey moussey filling. Serves 6, but hard for 1 person to not eat it all. Though I did get the runs afterwards.

They deserve all the stick they'll (hopefully) get if this takeover does happen. We're a fan base desperate for some good news or some hope for once, one that has been lied to repeatedly by the owner and his associates, had hopes of takeovers dashed several times already, and we're seemingly at a massive crossroad where if a takeover fails and Rafa goes that's really it for us. So once BZG made an announcement and stated they'd work hard to complete the purchase it should have been nothing but silence or "we don't really know what's happening" articles at best. Instead we get shit like "BZG bids aren't serious", "club sources aren't aware of a bid" or "BZG haven't shown any proof of funds yet" by journalists who either completely made that all up or used sources that they would have known were out of the loop. And yet they went ahead with those stories anyway, pretending they had good inside information whilst knowing full well it'd cause confusion and anguish for said fan base.

I'm still going to believe based on what we know as opposed to what we don't know that BZG are genuine, it's all done and dusted, and the hold up is with the PL who are taking their time. I don't believe this bid is fake for a number of reasons (they appear to have alot of money with the Asian deals signed, the reports of NUFC confirming the first BZG statement about a fee being agreed, the lack of denial from NUFC, the silence from Rafa, Monochrome Acquisitions, etc), but one reason worth reiterating is that this is the same lot that offered £2bn for Liverpool. If that bid was fake and BZG did it for publicity, whatever benefit there was in pretending to be buying a PL club has already been received. A further fake bid for NUFC adds absolutely nothing, there's zero benefit to pulling the same stunt with a lower profile club, in fact it's the complete opposite as the only thing that can come out of a second fake bid is BZG having a reputation of being chancers and charlatans. The most logical conclusion is that after failing to agree a bloated price for Liverpool they're settling for a club that has good potential and will cost closer to a tenth of what Liverpool would cost. My guess for the reason as to why the holdup is with the PL is because the PL need to really do their homework on this bid, something that will take time. They're in an unprecedented position of having to look into how close Sheikh Khaled is to the Man City owner, as well as whoever else is providing funds for the purchase. Have we ever had a single "family" owning two PL or top tier clubs in the history of the UK football? Probably not, don't think there's many families big or rich enough to have multiple individuals owning multiple football clubs in the same country. Must be an insanely rare occurrence. So whilst the "fit and proper" test isn't designed to stop greedy and unscrupulous businessmen taking control of clubs in order to bleed them dry (presumably the PL's attitude is you'd have to be daft to do this since the club will plummet and the investor will make a loss), this takeover bid from BZG is a pretty big decision for the integrity of the PL - if they get it wrong within a decade we could end up with half a dozen PL clubs being owned by Middle Eastern sheikhs and princes related to each other. Or to be more cynical multiple PL clubs essentially owned by a foreign state with the sheikhs/princes/etc merely being a front, as is suspected to be the case with Man City's owner. Sucks for us, but has to be worth looking into and getting the right assurances.

I for one welcome our new cartel overlords.

It was called Monochrome Acquisitions man. Could be starting a zebra farm in the UK, or investing in pedestrian crossings.

I know Midhat through having worked as a contractor and met with him twice. Have both his number and his work email. He hasn't responded to the one email I sent to him about the takeover, but he did say he liked the picture of Sonia's snatch and nutted one out to it. Did he have an opinion on Gail’s baps? I did ask, but he said he's not a big fan of seeded buns. Thought he was referencing a picture of someone jizzing on Gail's ass, but later transpired that he was talking about bread rolls from Gail's artisan bakery. https://gailsbread.co.uk/
