  1. One MILLION dollars. http://zerotosixty.files.wordpress.com/2007/09/medium_dr_evil_1.jpg
  2. If that was Ronaldo taking the free kick, can you imagine the wankathon? We'd have had 5-6 slow motion shots of Ronaldo with his arms outstretched and donning his orgasm face for starters.
  3. Rooney misses yet another good chnace to score. Hargreaves with a quality free kick. 2-1.
  4. C.Ronaldo loses ball 16th time. This will get boring quickly.
  5. C.Ronaldo loses the ball for the fifthteenth time. Clichy hits the post.
  6. Bit harsh on him, very good save from Lehmann to be fair. The ball rolled into Lehman's trailing foot, weak effort imo. You'd expect a better effort from Rooney, a good finisher would have put more on it.
  7. Has the hairstyle to go with it.
  8. And Rooney also fails to convert another great chance.
  9. Another sitter missed by Adebayor.
  10. How about Santa Cruz in Viduka's position?
  11. Torres is no De..............
  12. The game against Madrid when he came up against a true great midfielder in Redondo was a typical example of Keane's bark being worse than his bite. IIRC Redondo took the ball past Keane with ease as he did many times that game, was tagged by Keane, and as usual went down for the free kick which he got. Keane started mouthing off at Redondo from a distance, to which Redondo got up, chased Keane down, and squared up to him, putting his face right in Keane's in a "yeah? and what mofo" way. Keane's only reaction was to laugh nervously and walk away, because although he doesnt look a mean fucker, Redondo was bigger than him and well built. IMO Keane is a psycho who can lose his rag easily, and that will scare plenty of people who dont want to fight, but he's no hard man. If Duncan Ferguson had injured him all those years ago, you can be sure that revenge would never have been within a 100 miles of entering Keane's thoughts.
  13. Plenty, he roughed up some of the toughest players in the game and more often than not come out on top. He was very brave Shearer and one aspect of his character that often went unnoticed was that he hardly ever required treatment on the pitch. Players today when they go down, are treated by the sponge man straight away, Shearer just got up and got on with it. He never went around slapping people or being a nasty b****** but then that's not hard, that's just thuggery which thankfully Shearer wasn't like that. That's what separated him from Keane, two similar characters. Shearer was always in control and that's the ultimate in mental toughness as it's very hard to stay ion control, especially when you're getting kicked right left and centre or have a Roy Keane wanting to tear your face off. That just reinforces my point, despite Lennon's head but on Big Al's boot, he still remained in control. Some of the comments on that vid are quality. "hahahaha, best thig i have ever saw, durty wee lepricrorn scumbag ginger headed prick. 1 Alan shearer " "Omg. that was the most horrific things i have seen on a football field, Lennon you should be ashamed."

    Geremi's Corners

His corners were woeful but his free kicks were excellent. Several of them only needed a small touch, and they'd have been goals. Owen seems to be the only player we have who has any sort of movement in those situations, and he was a few inches short of getting on the end of a couple of those balls iirc.
  16. Carrick would have been ours for cheap had Shepherd listened to Sir Bobby and not used his award winning scrap metal business instincs in waiting for the price to go down even more.
  17. James was jammy, rather than bad miss. He hit it straight at James' face. Although its technically on target, its a miss for me because hes blown an absolute sitter by hitting the keeper directly as opposed to the keeper having to make an actual save.
  18. Butt and Geremi were good. Butt's movement on the break was top notch, and he was defensively sound as well. Geremi's set pieces were poor, but all high balls were poor, from everyone, if you didn't notice. It looked fairly windy. Not that I would mind younger versions of the same class. Theyd make decent to good squad players no doubt, and theyre doinga good job whilst adding some positive attributes to the team, but they frequently show moments of tiredness or a lack of mobility in their game. Im sick of seeing Butt aimless and needlessly hack a volley to just about anywhere, he does it nearly every game when the ball comes to him in the air and regardless of whether theres anyone within 10 yards of him and without any attempt to pass it to a teamate, he'll volley it. Geremi can be very slow on occassions. Basically, these same 3 players five years ago were considerably better than they are now, and definately more mobile with better stamina. Hence, that is what we should be aiming to sign, players of that calibre minus the limitations of age.
  19. Kranjcar was the best player on the pitch for me. Rarely lost/wasted the ball, played his way out of tight situations, several good through balls and crosses into the box, some decent dribbles.
  20. Did nothing noteworthy though. None of our players did. Doesnt happen often, but this is one of those games where noone should get MOTM.
  21. This game has shown that we must bring in younger replacements for Viduka, Butt and Geremi.
  22. James, oh my God. He must be praying that Capello isnt watching this.
