I doubt that selling the name of the ground, if it happens, will not make any difference to our league position because the money generated will not see us going above teams like Chelsea, either Manchester club and a few others.
-
It's being claimed that the club will benefit financially from the name change, it'll not benefit this year, if it ever will.
-
The club didn't have a badge until 1969, the two are different.
-
It'll cost the club because his shitty sports company will pay nothing.

It's not the same thing, Emirates Stadium wasn't Highbury.
-
I go to the match and see his shitty branding all over the ground, now I'll go home and watch his shitty brand all over Sky and MoTD and will also have to listen to his shitty brand.
-
I wonder if the City council has any hold on the name of the ground?
-
The name of the ground is part of the clubs heritage and one of the few constants in almost 120 years of the clubs history.

A second later and he didn't have the angle for the pass because the gap between the two defenders has gone but carry on nitpicking.
-
The thing is though, you only know what run Ba has made once he's made it because he started off on the same side of the defender as Ben Arfa. Ba was running parallel with the defender and Ben Arfa was now in full flight and a chance to make the pass was gone. Within 2 seconds we’d gone from the last screenshot to Ba being offside. I don’t know what people expect from him.
-
Nobody else has posted a screenshot never mind one that's proved you right. You are nitpicking about a player who is returning from a double leg break and an ankle injury. He's been out for the best part of a year and missed most of pre-season. You're having a go at Ben Arfa because he failed to make a pass which was almost impossible to make. Here's a second earlier, how could he have made a pass? For him to play a ball that Ba is going to get on the end of is impossible because Ben Arfa would have to play the ball in front of Ba and if he did that the defender would be first to it. You're the one going on about the pass and you're wrong. http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/3734/benarfaandba.jpg

Excellent!!! I wonder why Mick didn't post this screen shot where Ben Arfa had plenty of space to play it in to and Ba was making the run waiting for the ball to be dropped over? That's the thing when you're debating a guy from memory who has access to screenshots but only shows you the ones that suit his agenda. It's clear from the picture that I was right in what I said and the chance to finish the game off was there, the question to the people saying he was doing what he was told and holding on to the ball is why didn't he run it into the corner if that was the case? Instead he tried to beat the man again and ended up losing it allowing Everton to bring it forward again. Brilliant ball retention that. As is pretty obvious this opinion doesn't suit Mick, his Pardew bashing bum chum Wullie and a selection of fan boys on this forum but there's no need to cry about it lads, I'm sure he'll be amazing soon and you lot can w*** yourselves silly when he does finally get an assist or something. What was he supposed to do to use the preferred left foot that he's actually standing on, hop? Give it a rest, you're looking stupid now.

No, what we need to do is sell a player for 35 million.... Oh.
-
A woman pulled out a camera against Wigan and it looked like the lens was at least a 300mm zoom.
-
It looks like it and it was another 3 seconds before Ba was finally onside and McFadden had got back at Ben Arfa who then had 2 defenders around him.
-
Brilliant, I'm almost pissing myself.
-
Each frame also has the time shown, they were within seconds of each other.

OK then, here's one touch later. http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/5438/benarfaandbac.jpg Where's the simple chip into space?

http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/3734/benarfaandba.jpg This is within a second of Ben Arfa first getting the ball.

Ba was marked by Distin, it was right in front of where I sit.
-
Both Ben Arfa and Ba had been doubled up on by the time Ben Arfa lost the ball.
