What about the time when Ba was in space and only needed to be slipped through to have a clear run on goal, instead of doing that Ben Arfa heheld on to it too long and tried to beat the fullback again before losing possession. What he'll find is if he doesn't start releasing the ball at the right time soon then our players will stop making those runs, we've seen that with unpredictable players here in the past. He had a split second, and that's all it was to try and bend a ball between two defenders. Ba had a Distin between him and Ben Arfa and Ben Arfa had the fullback next to him so the gap was tiny, he also had McFadden closing him down.

Agreed. You da man, Sifu.
-
Marveaux rarely gives the ball away, he started quietly but his passing was mainly to one of our players.
-
I was thinking more Football Wanker.
-
Best gave away at least 9 free kicks but not all were offside. He handled once and a couple were for him fouling the defender.
-
You would be brilliant as an Inbetweeners character.
-
I agree that they are possibly not good enough individually, they are both currently part of a good defence though. Simpson should still improve now that his distractions seem to be a thing of the past.
-
Of course they do and on that note, well done to Simpson for forcing the first goal and also some very good balls into the Everton box, as well as defending down our left side at one point.
-
He was better at rightback yesterday than Ryan Taylor was at leftback. Ryan Taylor scored a very good goal and deserves praise for that but it doesn't make him a better defender.

What is an average display for somebody who comes on with 18 minutes to go in a game we're winning 2-1?
-
You are fairly clueless about football for somebody who claims to be in his mid 40's. Ben Arfa did very little wrong yesterday apart from giving away a free kick for going in too high with his foot up around waist height and another time when we cleared the ball from the centre of our defence and he couldn't control a ball with his chest. Other than that he played fairly well and took pressure off us when others around him were struggling after Monday night’s game.

I think you'll find the bit in bold isn't true. How will the club get rid of him? I think they have two choices other than terminating his contract which would be massively risky and the first is a free transfer and they'd still have to pay him until he finds a club. The other would be to pay up on his contract. They might risk sacking him and hope that they win a case against him although I doubt they'd want to lose at another tribunal.

Barton and his brother were jailed (Bartons brothers was suspended) for what they did so it wasn't even one on to one and Ranger hasn't been found guilty. I'm not trying to defend what he's done and I wouldn't be bothered if the club did sack him, I just think he will have a defence against being sacked. As I said the club would get slaughtered if they decided now to do something with Ranger. Man City were right with the way they handled Tevez and the Mackems got it right with Bramble when they were both suspended.
-
Ranger didn't break the lads jaw.

Come on. QPR were very close to nicking a result tonight. I wouldn't be gutted if we did lose, but a draw isn't totally out of the question given the form we're in. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------- Krul -------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Simpson ------------ Taylor ---------------- Coloccini -------------- Taylor ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------- Tiote --------------------------------------- ------------------------- Cabaye --------- Guthrie ---------------------------- Ba ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Jonas ------------------------------------- Best ---------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Man City have put 5 past Spurs and 6 past Man U, they are better than they were today.

2-0 to them would feel like a victory to me.

"They want to consider all the facts relating to the Ranger case and make sure that any decision is in line with the club’s disciplinary policy and employment law.” I don't see how they can sack him as every single disciplinary policy will state that the disciplinary policy must be seen to be fair. If this is the case then we've had players who have done as much as Ranger, Barton did worse and he wasn't sacked. The fact that Ranger is allowed to train shows that whatever he's done is not seen as being bad enough to warrant a suspension. If they cancel his contract then I think a Keegan type claim will hit the club as Ranger would win an unfair dismissal case. The only way the club will be able to dismiss him is if they have disciplined him every time he’s stepped out of line and if others who have done the same thing have been hit with the same disciplinary action which may be the case.

Ferguson has made Man U what they currently are, he's probably the best manager ever in this country.
-
He's also got his driving ban out of the way just before his form returned.
-
I thought that he started slowly and came into the game and did very little wrong.
-
Give over man, I doubt any player lost us as much posession as Best did today.
-
I'll be very surprised if Best wasn't off more then 5 times in the first half although he did give a few free kicks away for what looked like fouls.
