If that is the case then Keegan will be back, I have little doubt about that unless something major has happened between Keegan and somebody else.

I'd be seriously pissed off if any manager comes in and gets control over transfers.

Keegan asked for 3 players then lost 2 first team regulars so replacing them would take it to 5 first teamers, assuming the three he mentioned were for the first team of course.

Pity the crack team were depending on getting rid of Barton before trying to replace him, I guess they can be forgiven when you look at how much the crack team spent.

Were the players watching the crowd for the 5 minutes after they'd sat down just incase they were going to get up again?

The club only said that once Keegan had gone, before that the only comments from anybody in a position to know said the opposite. I can't believe I'm having to type this.

The Gallowgate most have been worse than the Leazes then, I always thought the Gallowgate was a bit strange.

I can understand that having lived away a few times.

I didn't notice much other than when they walked around, those next to them clapped, obviously it could have been different in other parts of the ground but if it wasn't more than clapping I can't see how it would put players off.

The banner was half way up the East stand and went around the Leazes into the Milburn and the crowd reaction was less than you get if you do a Mexican Wave.

I was on about 3 people walking around half of the ground, away from the pitch, not having any impact on a goal that probably came 5 minutes after they'd sat back down.

If anybody thinks anything which happened in the crowd contributed to us throwing away 3 points then they are potentially nuts.

It'll be his ploy to get in the away end at West Ham.
