Keegan has had 8 games but he came here with 4 of our players away in Africa and 1 banned from playing football because he's an idiot who can't control himself in public. Keegan will have known some of the players but not all of them so has almost certainly relied on advice from those already at the club and past reputations. He's now had 8 games in which he's been able to see how bad some of them are, 8 games which have been against some of the best teams in the country. He'll know a lot more now after 8 games than he did in early January when he first arrived. I doubt he'll drop all of the poor players in one go but I can see him starting the next game with Martins up front and I wouldn't be surprised to see N'Zogbia on the left wing either. He might even put a kid or two in now that we've played most of our tougher games and are going to be playing winnable games in the near future, then again, he might think the more experienced players are good enough against the bottom teams, we‘ll have to wait and see.

I didn't think Marcelino, Dumas and Pistone were that bad when they wanted to play, I hated Marcelino with a passion but only because of the way he went on, not because of the way he played, when he could be bothered. I'm not sure I can really try and compare the two sets of players after so long but I do know we've got some dross in our team now, as we did back them. It could be argued that Robson took over a better team when you look at who he had up front when fit.

I'll not defend his team selection for today, I just hope he learns that his experienced players are not good enough and are letting us down.

I don't think Robson could turn this team around with two new players, I think it will take 4 quality players to make a difference.

The team Bobby took over finished 13th, 13th, 11th and 11th before the two players came in, we weren't a good team.

If Keegan drops certain players I think we could get something at Birmingham, I'd like to see him drop 3 players from today and leave Barton out.

If we get a win in our next two games we should see a different team, they need confidence and they need it soon.

We're not within two signings changing us to that extent, four and we could be in business. Two central midfielders, a right winger and a goal scoring replacement for Owen.

Bobby did a good job turning the club around, Keegan can do the same again.

I think most of us share those concerns.

Keegan has an infectious personality, I think he'll do OK selling the club to players.

Keegan had been away from football longer the first time than he has been away this time.

I'm not knocking the games he won, it's just we dropped points under him that we shouldn't have dropped and I really think the opposition Keegan has come up against would have slaughtered a team who were becoming more and more at odds with Allardyce and they were being drained of confidence like water out of a sieve.

I'd probably go along with that, Keegan had a massive handicap as he'd had no plans for any club, get through to the summer and I think that will change big time.
