So an irrevocable undertaking signed in front of witnesses, one who admitted to shredding it by mistake wasn't actually signed.

Sir John isn't my idol, he just did a good job while chairman, I've never denied or doubted that it was the idea of Fletcher to bring Keegan in.

He was being asked to sell Gavin Peacock and David Kelly in this letter offering him a contract. Following the Board Meeting today, I write to set out proposals for your further engagement with Newcastle United as Team Manager. The Board are unanimously in support of your remaining with the Club and, being aware of the importance you place upon the future stability of the Club, have formulated a new financial package which they believe will bring stability and also allow investment in the playing squad. This new package, which involves a further substantial equity injection likely to be funded mainly by Board members and anticipates player sales, requires your support in terms of your acceptance of the amount that can initially be made available for player purchases. We're not in the bottom 3 at this stage of this season either. At this stage of our last 10 seasons we've been, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 10th, 11th x 3, 12th x 2 and 16th, in order of highest to lowest.

I'm not sure you're limited when it comes to buggering, if you're old enough and it's in private then it's up to the individuals. Obviously you’ve been doing your homework though.
