  1. Are we a big club? I couldn't give a shit one way or the other, we are what we are, whatever that is.
  2. Before the game at Wigan the chants were "Ashley is a Geordie" and "Walking in an Ashley wonderland." He's not getting the second one, that's gone back to it's rightful owner.

    Fave KK memory?

Best non-football memory was meeting and talking to him, he was just so down to earth and easy to talk to. Football wise, Leicester 7-1, the atmosphere that day was special and the game itself couldn't have been better, what a day.
  4. You must watch some shite.
  5. I've got the press conference on Sky News interactive, I just keep it looping and can't bring myself to turn over, I think I'll open a can.

    The impact of KK...

I don't see why he can't be around in 5 years.
  7. I'm sure Keegan will have a better chance than most to get people in, especially with the reported financial backing, if true.

    The impact of KK...

I can't see Mort or Ashley trying to bluff him so I wouldn't worry, I really think they'll get on well together, Keegan and Ashley will be up a height and Mort will try to keep them focused, I think they'll make an excellent team.
  9. He said it just before we played the mackems, he was referring to us beating them, probably just PR though.
  10. Another highly relevant reply, well done.
  11. You're not allowed to say that.
  12. Proof of what Keegan can do here should be obvious to everybody considering what has happened this past few days. I don't think we played so well on Wenesday by accident. It might have only been Stoke but it was the same Stoke that almost put us out of the competition in the first game yet our 10 men pissed all over them. I can't wait to see what impact Keegan has on N'Zogbia.

Keegan did spit the dummy out here if that's what you want to call it but he had good reason. Early on he was promised that he'd get money to spend and Sir John didn’t deliver. Keegan forced Sir John to put his hand into his pocket and make money available. If Keegan hadn't done that then we probably would not be where we are today.

We aren't £100 million off top 6, that would get you 5 very good players and we're not that far behind. 5 very good players would potentially make us a very good side. I think we've got a good enough defence and if we provide the service to the forwards we'll get goals. What we need is creativity in midfield, we're probably short of two midfiedlders.

You can't say it hasn't worked.
  17. They need to seriously look at expanding the ground now. No debt at the club and the prospect of loads more cash coming in now, I really think he'll get the money he needs and will want.
  18. I disagree about the missed opportunity, whatever happens with Keegan, I'm sure when he goes he'll leave a better club behind and one who can again look to appoint from a better pool of manager.
  19. I'm looking forward to it; it feels the same this time as it did the last 2. Thinking about it, he's probably the perfect gamble looking at the reaction to the appointment from our fans, the lift people have had has been almost instant, and selling 15,000 tickets in 1 hour is unheard of. The crowd is going to be jumping now and the players will also feel the benefit of the positive reaction, I'm over the moon now that it's sunk in, regardless of the risk. It's a stunning appointment even if it does bring risk with it.

The whole place has been lifted already, it could go wrong but it could also be good times ahead.
  21. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/main.jhtml?view=DETAILS&grid=A1YourView&xml=/sport/2008/01/16/sfnfro116.xml Deschamps told The Daily Telegraph last night. "It would be an exciting challenge. Newcastle are a big club."
  22. It doesn't matter, we've already spent the money.
