Pre-season (2026/27): NUFC to play Everton at Murrayfield on 12/08/26

Shame none of the big boys will be back today. Would be nice to see Bruno, Joelinton etc. -
Forward.

I feel oddly protective of him, I'm not sure why. Possibly because he's got work to do before he reaches any potential, partly because he gets quite a bit of stick, perhaps it's because he's been disowned by his boyhood club or the fact he's not the best looking lad in the world. I just really, really want him to succeed. I hope he accepts that he's part of a squad and that there will be highs and lows for him. Just keep working with Eddie and bide your time.

1. He's got better productivity than every player we have in that position. 2. It's a good price. 3. He's British and there's value in having a core of British players. 4. He's very highly rated, pretty much universally. 5. Sometimes you sign players who are available at the time as much as the positions you need. 6. As you say, there's a distinct possibility it frees us up to sell surplus players.

Now, if we'd signed U21s Euros player of the tournament for 45m and his name was Antonio Gonzales, we'd have been buzzing as fuck.
-
Get in.
-
Holy fuck. Make him number 1 for seniors.
-
Joke decision. No way is that a pen.
-
Good for whoever they play on the first game.
-
Forgot he was missing. Cracking player.
-
Genuinely feel a sense of pride watching Gordon. Shame his team mates are such selfish cunts.
-
Harvey Elliot is some fucking sub mind.
-
I think I'd caveat that by saying they are clearly two players who have more experience.
-
He generally been the most mature player for England. Very selfless.
-
Erm, Harry Maguire regularly plays for England.
-
Was a pen all day. Ref bottled it.
-
Spanish are dirty cunts.
-
Your post is just a blank space, bar the letters and words.

Yeah, I think Joelinton will gradually end up more central. We need depth in the centre and while Willock finds himself in wide areas, he rarely starts in that position. Isak needs to find his groove up front. Also, I think ASM will be sold. Seems inevitable to me.

Doing a bit of Dennis Wising. He's a striker basically. Natural goalscorer. Two good feet. Instinctive. Fox in the box. Direct. It seems like everything is about the quickest route to goal. Perhaps he doesn't dribble past people but he seems to power past people, on the shoulder. Perhaps finding a left forward, rather than a LW, is another string to our bow. I feel like Barnes is entirely different to our other wide players.

Should send Fraser the other way. For nowt.
-
De Gea officially gone. My guess: Chelsea.
-
Be mint if he starts for them every game.
-
Ornstein or nothing for me these days.

Whilst I agree, how hard is it for our journos to ring up their journos? All seems weird.
