  1. Get that on a banner @Heron
  2. When I looked at your profile it said Pilko (Member) and I thought, "Finally the mods are putting descriptions alongside profiles!"
  3. It looked more of 4213. He said himself that you can call it what you like. Dubz Manquillo Fernandes Schar Lewis Hayden Willock Almiron ASM Wilson Fraser
  4. A front 3 of Wilson/ASM/Almiron/Fraser/Willock, fuck it,maybe even the Brazilian donkey, should be enough for any decent manager worth his salt to AT LEAST make us a side with serious threat. The issue is the centre of the pitch. Can Howe get Hayden/Longstaff/Willock to do the work required in the middle? At the back, the best he can do is play our best centre halves.
  5. I'm soooo pleased there is an international break coming. He should get a friendly organised to work on formation.
  6. Would be nice to think he has emailed his game plan to Jones.
  7. Watching that Tifo clip tells me he sounds perfect for the tactical, technical side of things. In terms of recruitment, I got the impression that their model was set up to recruit young players who wouldn't be put off by Bournemouths status. He just needs to sign players slightly older, who can hit the ground running.
  8. He literally sold Ritchie to us man.
  9. Wonder if this has come from Howe's end.
  10. Also has a better/comparable CV than Fonseca or Favre, we should just get McClaren back. Being underwhelmed by Howe, I can understand, but cherry picking daft things really doesn't give a fair summary.
  11. Again failing to realise that us being 9 points adrift would not be the fault of the current owners. Not even slightly.
  12. Where is this? I'm blocked by Keith and can't see anything by the tooth fairy.
  13. Yeah I thought it was Bruce. Kin ell.
  14. I think I can speak for everyone here to say that Emery would have been a better appointment for us. It's right that the club tried to get him, they failed and have a few lessons to learn. We need to "dust ourselves down", as Kebabchops would have said and get someone who can move us forward.
  15. BTW @ManDoonI think everyone is entitled to have the discussion about Howe, with regards to pros and cons. I'm just in a positive frame of mind because the club is at least attempting to be positive.
  16. I just try looking at the bigger picture. Since Bobby; Souness, Roeder, Allardyce, Kinnear, Hughton, Pardew, McClaren and Bruce. 8 managers that I'm comfortable that Howe pisses all over (respect to Hughton though) and only one of them did I feel was a good appointment at the time (Allardyce, boy I was wrong). That's 20 years worth of managers who have either failed or I didn't want. For once we have one I'm happy to have.
  17. If you aren't excited by Howe, that's fair enough but at least be content. Content that the guy won't talk shite in the press. Content that he's a genuinely good coach. Content that he will play adventurous attacking football. Content with progress. Content with positive change. If we still get relegated, so be it. Eddie Howe is more than capable of swashbuckling us back up at the first time of asking.
  18. Yeah I've been wondering if Jones is on a different deal to the Steve's and its going to cost them too much to axe him. If the cost of axing him outweighs the benefits of getting rid of him then it makes sense. Also, whether we rate him or not is irrelevant. He's clearly highly rated amongst the coaching circles.
  19. He could be 4th or 5th choice for all anyone knows. It really makes shite all difference on the training ground.
  20. Ritchie was finished under Rafa. Bruce kept him on because he's one of the lads and a grafter. If Howe is smart he will spot that Ritchie is finished. If he's not, then Howe won't be a success anyway. It might take a couple of games though.
  21. And on the Ritchie thing.... he also sold the cunt.
