Erm, I dont expect us just to remain in the premiership. I expect us to aim for top 6. The fact we have a shite owner and shite manager are irrelevant to my expectations. Our expectations shouldn't change because the owner and manager dont match them. It's the owner and manager than should change.

I think it's tosspot behaviour wishing it on anyone tbh, but I can objectively understand why people might take that view with MA. Bruce? Nah. Anyone getting teary over a couple of "fuck offs" and "tosspot" on a forum are massive snowflakes. So wishing a heart attack is ok, if it's on someone you dont like? I dont particularly dislike Bruce, the person, therefore I dont wish a heart attack on him. As a manager hes appalling and therefore he should be shot like a rabbit with mixy.

Thing is though, people are high and mighty about, "shouldn't wish a heart attack on anyone". I cant remember anyone being so defensive in the MA thread.

I'm shocked at the amount of people defending/supporting Bruce. I've learned my lesson on this one I'm afraid. I thought Pardew could develop into a good manager, I was wrong. I thought McClaren might be the right fit for the club, despite his record, I was wrong. It turns out leopards dont change their spots. Once a shite manager, always a shite manager. Those supporting Bruce are just delaying the inevitable, the slow destruction of the side Rafa built. It doesn't matter how much money we spend, or how many free tickets we give away, Steve Bruce as an appointment was a death by 1000 cuts and proof that this owner has no clue about football and no ambition to learn. I mean what are those sympathetic to Bruce hoping will happen? That he's turned into a good manager over night? It doesn't happen, it wont happen, it has never happened.

First 25 was terrible and then the last 20 has been excellent. Where the fuck has that football been all season. Shame we are still behind. Two things; Joelinton was much better, showed much more aggression and Lejuene is nowhere near up to speed.

It's the correct decision to bring Yedlin in. I like Manquillo but Yedlins pace works well for Almiron.

We could finish in the champions league and I'd still think Rafa was a better manager, provided we keep playing the way we are. Its built on sand and a very good defence, which ironically, Rafa built.

That arguement falls short when you consider 40m was on Joelinton, though.

Andy Carroll's involvement just slows our attack right down. You cant have him and Joelinton playing together.

I always said that I didnt hate Bruce personally but that he was just a poor manager. After hearing his comments yesterday, I've changed my mind. Rafa was a man of the people, constantly pulling the fans back in, in spite of the owner. Bruce seems to have a "with us or against us," mentality. Sadly, this will be his undoing, when those so called loyal fans start to boo him (and his players) once he starts fiddling with Rafas side and results go south.

For a big lad, he doesn't half get knocked over easily. Spends a lot of time getting bullied off the ball. Has he had a booking for us? Needs to fucking change. Get some aggression man. He also hasnt caused much bother from set plays, given what a unit he is it's really not good enough. It's one thing that he isnt getting a lot of chances from open play but it's another when he isnt even causing problems with his height.

I wouldnt mind so much but there is genuinely people on twatter that think hes better than Rafa. Results have been waaaaay better than the performances.

ASM is a much more exciting player than Atsu but I'm not so sure hes that much more productive. He will be fine.

No chance, Rafa would but not Bruce. Bruce changes things after they have gone stale. Should be bringing in Schar for Dummett. At the very least. Possibly Joelinton for Carroll because theres no way Carroll can start two games in a week.
