Champion, a new manager now and we are sorted.
-
At home I'd love to see: Isak Barnes Gordon Joelinton Bruno Tonali
-
We need more of you. That said Howe's subs were shambolic.
-
Taking him off was a shocking decision.... He'd moved more central too and was playing really well. Then Bruno went off and I was even more perplexed. Perhaps it's because they'd played for their countries? Still wouldn't have taken them off. Isak would have been first off.
-
Not spent about a billion quid though have we.... And on and on and on. Mindless.
-
Half? Your opinion on Howe barely represents 10% of what actual fans think.
-
Mate, don't do it to yourself. Get down the pub and have a bit crack with some newcastle fans. Don't waste your time in here, certainly on this topic.
-
Now, now, no excuses allowed. Losing a game of football, regardless of circumstances = sacking.
-
Sack Arteta. The only solution.
-
Aye sandros having a nightmare... clowns.
-
Tonali has done fine. Not his fault that there is a chronic lack of pace in defence and Isak isn't playing well at all.
-
He was a big part of a side that finished 4th and 7th in the PL respectively. I'd agree with you if you say that we need better but saying he's championship standard is pure bullshit. He'd be a solid player for any lower tier PL side.

Personally I think Froggy attending a Newcastle game is a slap in the face to real fans who could have been their to shout and moan at our players. Anyone who facilitated that wants a slap in the face.
-
I know right? I don't why them idiots keep saying it.
-
Doesn't make any sense because in the last couple of match threads I've heard that he's been anonymous.
-
It's quite simple really, the only question that needs answering is whether he's prepared to drop big names. You can't play Bellingham, Palmer and Foden in the same side. Drop 1 or 2 of them. It won't happen because the idiots in the media won't let it. And don't get me started on Kane. Play someone who is prepared to run.

I find it rather strange how confident they are of getting promotion. The season is in its infancy. I'd say they are likely for a play off spot but they've got some real big hitters behind them, with better squads. Also, it would absolutely be like Sunderland to completely bottle it.
-
There's a small snag in that our squad is nowhere near a league winning side + we still don't have the resource to do it (yet). Pep hasn't managed in Italy yet.

In the last 7 games of last season we scored 20 goals, won 4, drew 1, lost 2, and one of those losses was away at Old Trafford. I agree that we haven't reached the heights of that PSG game but also that's a very high standard to hold them to every week. Just look at someone like Arsenal or Man City, they don't win all their games at the standard we know they are capable. Arsenal let a two goal lead slip against Leicester before winning, for example and Man City had to come from behind the other day. Since that PSG win, we've also had some incredible results which would have been comparable to our very best under 12 years of MA: Chelsea 4-1 Spurs 4-0 sunderland 3-0 Arsenal 1-0 Man United in the cup 0-3? And a fair few other decent ones 4-1 at Brentford for example, 5-1 against Sheffield United at home. The point is, it's not all doom and gloom.

I hate to be that guy but we'd have given him similar levels of abuse. In fact when Andy Carroll returned to Newcastle he got absolutely hounded when he missed a sitter/dived. I don't blame them one bit for using the story to create an atmosphere. The social media post is classless mind but that's because they've nowt else to shout about. Shite side, shite manager and a inferiority complex. They are sad little scouse mackems.
-
Because every now and then you have Wimbledon away in the cup or you have an injury crisis where you need a an old war horse to see you through a game or two. We are no where near the position to just let go players who are starting for us right now and someone who has been one of our more consistent performers this season. We all agree that Burn doesn't start if everyone is fit. He's probably 4th choice but even if he's relegated to 6th choice, you keep him.
-
Let's not bullshit. Man United got a good result at Villa, who were underwhelming on the day. Which is great because it keeps ETH in a job just a wee bit longer.
-
We could, I dunno, have a SQUAD of players to choose from.
-
I didn't say they were going to be a threat, more that they will win a couple of big games. More to do with Goodison. At some point this season they will beat a Spurs or whatever. Basically I'm saying we got through a historically tricky fixture unscathed and unlucky.
