Rodgers is absolutely class.
-
Get Barnes on.
-
Get the booked lads off.
-
Great footy.
-
Watkins didn't get booked, so Gordon shouldn't.
-
We could just do what other sides would do and keep the ball. Don't play any risk passes until we enter the final third.
-
The one thing we absolutely cannot do, is get someone sent off.

I don't know what it is but why do some games just feel special. Don't know if it's the opposition, the occasion, because it's boxing day etc. It just feels different.
-
I think it's speak for us all when i say we need a second.
-
Joelinton you prat.
-
Tonali pulling the strings.
-
Absolutely rattled him.

Trippier can fuck off. Play RB, you ain't a midfielder.
-
Just Tonali. Won 2 balls in the first minute.
-
Huge blow given their pace. Let's see what Trippier has left in him.

Reckon this could be a classic. Let's see how we deal with their counter.

Canny goal that mind.

I agree but the PL would be boring if everyone played the same way. So long as he doesn't manage us, it makes for decent viewing, from a tactical perspective. I'd absolutely love to have Everton at home right now.

I'm leaning towards it being unlikely that we make any moves, unless we make a sale or two.

This isn't me being a smart arse but isn't pretty much common knowledge that we tried to sign Guehi? Even if the fee wasn't 70m, let's say 40m to be conservative, we obviously have some wriggle room. Reading between the lines, perhaps it's a squad size issue that we are dealing with. We can't afford to bring one in without releasing wages or squad space. Obviously our PSR issues are there for us all to see but it's all a bit confusing exactly where we stand.

You've just highlighted the same stuff as me. Spot on. Very mature for his age.
-
At 18 years old he's much better than Longstaff or Anderson for starters. He's still in the "i don't know what type of player he is," bracket, because he's young and I don't know which part of his game is going to be the highlight. For me what stands out the most is his maturity. Alot of young players try and play the game at a million mile an hour, Miley is clean and crisp. His short range passing is superb, his decision making is great. I'd refer back to that assist to Isak last season. Of course there are areas of his game we haven't seen yet. Can he make well timed runs into the box? Can he show defensive discipline? Plenty of time for all that but really looking forward to seeing more of him. One thing is for certain, he couldn't have better mentors in Bruno, Tonali and of course Eddie Howe.

Ange is certainly entertaining

Good goal but not creamy.
