    Kieron Dyer....

Maybe Owen is looking to move on. I see Newcastle and Chelsea are the latest being linked with Bafetimbi Gomis. Spurs and the scum were rumoured to be interested last month, meant to be quite decent with a lot of potential, only 21. The downside would be the price won't be cheap and he's another one headed for the ANC. nee chance of him going to sunderland and a politician Scum = ars*nal ANC should have read ACN = African Cup of Nations. Comolli signed him when he was Sporting Director at St Etienne and says Gomis is not a player he is looking to buy for Spurs at the present time. Fair to assume that he's either not up to Premier League standard or crap!!
  2. Geller's got links with Exeter still. Well, at least there's a good chance he'll turn up at the wrong SJP, then.

  5. How olds Mackay? SSN were saying that the police have confirmed the person involved is not a football agent. Would guess that indicates an owner/chairman/director.

We should get rid of Owen. I would have thought Owen and Viduka would make a top class partnership. Maybe Owen's heart hasn't been quite in it but with a new owner, new manager, new players coming in, I would have thought there would be plenty of reasons for him wanting to stay. With no financial reason to sell anyone, a strike force of Owen, Viduka, Martins and Ameobi sounds fine to me.

    Kieron Dyer....

I wouldn't disagree with what you say tbh but overall I think Butt had a much bigger impact over the entire season than Dyer. I also have big reservations about him being able to maintain his good form, it's for that reason I said previously I wouldn't want to see him in a Spurs shirt.
  8. Sneijder is thought of more attacking MF rather than LM, Petrov is still the preferred option so I understand. Been a good day today, Taarabt has been confirmed on a 5 year deal as he now he is 18, Yuri Berchiche signed for us ahead of Chelsea, slime and Liverpool, Brum are in for Mido mackems.gif and Murphy's talking to Wigan. Be good to see 2 lumps of deadwood gone tbh.

    Kieron Dyer....

I think the goals the fast kid from Lagos scored in the middle of the season were what kept us up. Oba, Dyer, Taylor and Milner kept us up. I think I would take Dyer out of those 4 and put Nicky Butt in his place. When you think how close Newcastle were to losing Milner to Villa.............

In that case, profuse apologies and stop opening up new accounts!

Nothing gets easier than that. 4. Newcastle 5. Spurs 6. Arsenal Happily see Spurs 17th if the slime were still below us.

    Kieron Dyer....

I'm happy to welcome any player that drags Spurs 'down' to 5th after what had gone on in the preceding years. Milner (if it was possible) I would welcome with open arms, Dyer is welcome at WHL only if he is visiting wearing your shirt. Face it Martin Jol, if that is your real name. You're bricking it, you only started posting here when we've been on the slide. Now we're a team on the up, your arse is squeaking to the tune of 'rabbit rabbit'. I'd been posting here for 8 months before you decided to make your debut. I'm personally glad to see Newcastle on the up. I'll be even happier when the Woolwich pikeys start their inevitable decline.

  14. Sh** player, sh*** signing!! But you'd expect me to say that tbh.
  15. I'm splitting my sides with laughter......... if you're going to fabricate my quotes, you could at least make them plausible.
  16. Yes I have. I still think he will as soon as he gets an offer which is acceptable to him. In the meantime Enic seem to be hoovering up all the shares they can get at deflated prices. The sale of Sir Alan Sugar's share was at an an agreed price of 113.6, the share price prior to the announcement was near to 140p. On top of that Enic underwrote a rights issue and are obliged to buy all the options that were not taken up in September/October. That, on top of today's announcement would almost certainly take Enic's holding well over 70%. The are still announcements to be made regarding the new Academy and the renovation of WHL, but when those are done at (or just prior) to the AGM, that's when I think Enic would be likely to sell. In addition to the talk of the Russian oligarch I've spoken about previously, there's also talk of 2 Americans who are interested and the latest name to crop up is John Fredriksen, a Norwegian shipping magnate. It was in the Mail today: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/sport/football.html?in_article_id=460481&in_page_id=1779&ito=newsnow though there have been denials since then. Freddie Shepherd said that there wouldn't be any takeover of Newcastle either! There may be some truth to it or it may be another name plucked out of the Forbes richlist, but his 2 daughters who live in London do go to WHL. Whatever the truth, I still expect Enic to have sold by the end of the year.
  17. As Ribery has passed his medical with Bayern according to Marseille chairman Pape Diouf, Marseille need a replacement and Guily is one option, also according to Pape Diouf.
  18. The Sun are showing the new away strip................and very nice it is too! http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2002390000-2007260080,00.html
  19. Force of habit I guess for me!
  20. Totally agree. Ranieri is good but Ramos is different gravy imo. Take Monchi as well and assuming the Thai takes over, I think Citeh could become a very successful club quite quickly. The NW could be a hotbed of successful premiership clubs, Utd, Citeh, red and blue mickeys, Blackburn, shame about Bolton though....................
  21. The latest was a Citeh statement yesterday: Manchester City will release the following statement to the Stock Exchange once business opens... Manchester City plc - Update re Potential Offer 4 June 2007 Manchester City PLC ("Manchester City" or the "Company") Further to its announcement on 25 April 2007, the Board of Manchester City confirms that it is now in advanced discussions with interested parties that may or may not lead to an offer being made for the Company. A further announcement will be made in due course as appropriate.
  22. Drifting off subject, Djamel Abdoun played for the French in the Toulon tournament yesterday, scored the first goal and ran the Germans ragged. Citeh had him on loan with a view to buy from Ajaccio and Pearce released him??
  23. He will have a hell of work to do at man city though.... Personally i think they could be one of the favourites to get relegated. I think they will have better luck next season especially when they will have a lot of money to spend if the takeover indeed happens. Its been ages. Isnt it the same guy that tried to buy Liverpool...? Seems abit of a shifty character if you ask me.... hes been tryin to buy different clubs for years, but been unsuccessful, so what are the clubs finding out about him to not allow the takeover to continue? is he demanding to much or something?? Didn't think the Thai had shown any interest in any club other than Citeh.
  24. He will have a hell of work to do at man city though.... Personally i think they could be one of the favourites to get relegated. If Pearce was still there, I would have agreed with you. If the Thai throws money at it to resolve the immediate problem, a high quality coach and sporting director could take the club a long way imo.
  25. As I said earlier, his agent was on the radio earlier saying they were going to talk to the bingo club today. Barton's heart may be set on SJP but his wallet may tell him to go elsewhere.
