Would quite like a dodgy penalty for us on the 90th minute to win.
-
We are back in the top 8 like this.
-
Just wanted to highlight the contradiction, that's all.
-
You went on to say it's a one off game .. it wasn't relevant to the contradiction I highlighted. Seems you would have been unhappy whatever the line-up was. Despite you saying it was basically unwinnable.
-
You literally said this in another thread earlier on.. You were already admitting that winning here is extremely unlikely in any scenario. So what's the harm with the line up and trying something new?
-
I quite like the line-up. Front 3 haven't played a bunch between them recently. Wide players set up to counter attack with pace.
-
So why is Eddie out the solution?
-
Why would Howe know any of that.. he wouldn't play Isak if had an idea he wanted out. Isak wasn't for sale until he went on strike. You're reaching here.
-
This is one of the weirdest posts ever read on here. What do you think is a transitional period? Be brought Elanga as he thought he would play well with Isak who fucked off. We were turned down every other too striker in the world and bought in big Nick who is a completely different type of player. Wissa is still integrating and he himself says he's not 100%. Don't know how many times this kind of stuff needs to be said.
-
We have tried to sign many creative players whilst he's been here. Olise Rafinha Mbeumo Cunha Ekitike Szoboslai Maddison João Pedro Good effort though
-
I quite like to continue to have an elite manager and a club not in chaos rather than an alternative interim manager or a Mourinho who doesn't have a clue. Transitional seasons happen everywhere. And even elite managers lose home matches and have some bad results.
-
"Minnows" that have smashed some of the elite teams this year. But because we beat them they are worse than shite, i guess that's the narrative being peddled now.
-
Same idiots in here every time we don't win. We aren't entitled to win every game.
-
This is just total ignorance. Look at some of their results this season for a start.
-
Quiet in here tonight.. after the wolves game there were 7 new pages in this thread within an hour after FT.
-
Genuinely how can anyone want him out? Just don't get it. If we did, we would bring in a shite caretaker manager and then Mou or some other has been in the summer within 6 months, we would be full of regret and Howe would have gone onto better things.
-
These guys are very clinical, can't give them any clear cut chances otherwise we will get turned over. Shocked to see us heavy favourites for this. Thought the odds would be more even.
-
These are really good and certainly no mugs. This will be very difficult, bit worried about this.
-
I don't believe that at all. And if let's say we did get him, he's been managing teams for the very top honours. This project would have to really, really motivate him, otherwise we are in an Ancelotti at Everton scenario.
-
I don't think this role has ever worked properly in the PL except Brighton.
-
They did to be fair. Their summer window was a disaster, managed to recruit even worse than us in the summer. Sancho, Elliott, Lindelof, Guessand all been poor.
-
Who is out there and realistic? We would end up with a no mark interim manager until the end of the season. Our summer transfer window would be a wait and see who the new manager is before moving forward with any targets. Would send the whole club back massively.
-
There are no good managers out there available at the moment which are realistic to bring in, and let's face it, no one is going to come in and do a better job than Eddie. Just have to take a look at the Villa and Everton game at the minute to see just how competitive the league is, considering the form that Everton has been in. There are no perfect managers. Once the dressing room is lost then it's time for a change but at the moment everyone is trying to pull together. There are some very entitled people here.
