I wanted this deal as much as anyone but Saudi Arabia are hardly faultless here. Saudi Arabia pirating the Premier League's biggest oversea broadcaster. PL sending complaints to the wrong email address. Seriously? During the process they even banned BeIn. Helping no-one. I wish they sort their relationship out. And try again with buying hs. Them having a healthy relationship with Qatar (at least whilst they hold PL rights) is the way to go.

We know that a decision will eventually get made. I can totally wait this out. Knowing that Ashley's ownership could potentially end with one decision is the most hopeful and optimistic I've been since KK returned. The big, big positive is, there is nothing Mike can do about it now. It's out of his hands. No moving the goal posts, it's past that point. Let's hope it's sooner rather than later but there is no point throwing toys out of the pram just yet.

Might be the only reason that Pellegrini is still in the job.

I'm sure he'll look back on that with great fondness. League Cup Semi Final on his CV. What about the FA Cup final he got to then? Or the quaters last season, and the semis before that? s*** in the cups You could say that Pardew being a minute away from actually winning the FA Cup with West Ham, is more impressive then the lot of that. But it's a completely moot point. They both have won fuck all.

I can't help thinking that Keegan would have made him a great player here. Shame it never took off for him.. top bloke.

400 games for Tottenham?? No.

Those options. Perfect bantz.

Great guy. Money wasn't important to him., could have easily become a first team keeper somewhere else (and maybe earn a England cap) but didn't want to leave. Good luck to the guy, hope he sticks around.

Ben Arfa vs Villa. I would choose Cisse vs Southampton but he misses guilt edge opportunities on a seemingly weekly basis, so feeling quite bias and unfair at the moment.

If we are missing more than about three 'key' players Pardew says he can't win matches, so it's no surprise that we don't rotate much. Self-fulfilling prophecy. There aren't many players to 'rotate' to be fair. In comparison to the clubs who've been around us this season? Of course there are. Why strikers are you going to rotate? Cisse Shola Gouffran Rotate away. Our squad is pathetic - though January improved that - too little too late. Pathetic lack of ambition and backing from the board. Gouffran came because we were hijacked at the last minute by QPR for Remy. That too because our s*** league position made Remy think twice whether it was worth turning down double the money to play for us thanks to Pardew's disastrous league campaign. Nah not having that, he was offered a lot more and took it. Let's not start making stuff up If we'd been 6th in the table instead of 16th you don't think it would have made a difference? Maybe he'll stay at QPR then. Money, London and being in the shop window come summer time, they were the most important to Remy, not league position. For someone who had Michael Owen as his avatar long after the mercenary c*** had left our club I find that ironic. Well I was talking about Remy and that had nothing to do with my old 2000ish(??) avatar ffs If you want to debate about very old avatars, i suggest you shut up and move on. It's boring. You were the one who suggested money and location was the prime factor for Remy moving to QPR. I just found that strange from someone who had Michael "Helicopter into Newcastle" Owen as his avatar even after he'd sent out brochures to other clubs while being our highest paid player. And how long ago was that? Blah blah boring boring Tron. Get over it. It was you who brought up Remy's mercenary attitude today. Pretty rich considering, that's all I am saying. His form since late January will mean he has a pick of top clubs, it has hardly back fired on him. A long contract with Newcastle United or a more lucractive contract with a London club with multiple release causes? For a foreigner it's understandable to pick the latter, as much as it sucks for us. Hopefully theres a chance to sign him this summer however much I doubt it.

Our win% and defensive record with him this season is significantly better than without. But yea, a CB should be our transfer priority This. I love the username and avatar Therefore your opinion is my opinion.

I'm just thankful that someone in the media pointed out he was clueless and it wasn't just us fans.

I quite like Ashley for the fact he has invested in the scouting infrastructure. His quotes about Joe Kinnear being his hero, makes me thing his loyalty in manages is -esque Good times. How utterly ridiculous that those quotes come from the owner of our club. Christ on a cracker.

Was very overrated in his prime. Still shocked that he was a starter at Real Madrid ahead of Figo.
