  1. Is it really true that Stuart Pearce broke his leg and tried to run it off?

When he was at West Ham I think.  'Arry Redknapp said he heard it break from the side lines but Pearce wanted to give it to half time.

  2. Isn't there supposed to be an official up in stands marking their performance?

There are two people at each match that judge the referees performance.  One is another ref (maybe an ex-ref i'm not sure) and another is someone who used to be part of the game (an ex-player or manager).

  3. Saw the paper it was in. Headline is in 4foot bold lettering, with a small caption box to one side with a lead in to the article.

Headline: TOON STARS BOOZE AND DRUGS

Lead in: A party was held in Toon Stars house, but the players aren't believed to have taken any drugs or booze.

    :dowie:

So the story is a sober Andy Carroll shagged a couple of birds in Nolans house?

  4. That's now ten (punished) mistakes from the lad in his short first team career.

Nowhere near ready. Forster should be recalled asap.

Go on then, these ten mistakes are...

    3 against Huddersfield

    1 against P'Boro

    1 against Norwich

    1 against Chelsea

    1 against Stoke

    1 against Wigan

    1 against Arsenal

    1 against Sunderland

2 of those are arguable, the rest are blatant errors. I don't want to be negative for the sake of it. Great day, great performance. But it's becoming pretty undeniable that Harper should get the shirt back and we should recall Fraser from Celtic when we can.

What are you basing your opinion on forster upon? Krul had every bit as succesful a loan spell as Forster, everyone who has seen them at reserve level rates Krul higher and the club rate Krul higher.

Is it possible that you are in fact Adrian Durham?

  5. Kind of glad in a way he's gone, I never rated him, but that was based on nothing bar a poor stint at Forest.

Wasn't he only manager for two seasons?  One they got into the play-offs and the next they got promoted?  If so that's hardly poor is it?

  6.                         Krul

               Simpson  Campbell  Colo  Enrique

                Routledge  Barton  Tiote  Jonas

                               Lovenkrands

                                                   Carroll

    That will do for me.

Lovenkrands in a withdrawn role and Carroll messing around by the corner flag?  I have to say, it'd at least give us the element of surprise.

  7. Schmeichel

    Irwin  Ferdinand   Adams   Cole

    Ronaldo  Scholes   Keane   Giggs

    Drogba   Henry

Seriously, how arogant do you have to be to put yourself in a Premiership XI?

  8. Also Karl Henry breaks Zamora's ankle, and nothing is said.

(Directed at Lineker, Hansen et Alan) Not funny now, is it?

There was nothing wrong with his tackle on Zamora though.  He didn't go in overly hard and he played the ball.  Looked more like Zamora just went over on his ankle badly.

  9. I see Lua Lua scored for Brighton and a clean sheet for Fraser Forster.

Looking on their forums the Celtic fans seem to already want Forster on a permanent deal and the Brighton fans are giving LuaLua 9+ out of 10 for his last match.

Good start for the both of them.  Was it a season long loan for both of them?

  10. Can anyone find any information on this lad?  I can only find a Nassim Ben Khalifa who has signed for Wolfsburg.

edit: it seems he's never played a professional match so that might be why there's so little on him.

    What info are you after?

I was just looking for position, style, club history, age etc.

  11. Can anyone find any information on this lad?  I can only find a Nassim Ben Khalifa who has signed for Wolfsburg.

edit: it seems he's never played a professional match so that might be why there's so little on him.

  12. The environment does not train more than 23 years for ten days and remains "in a bubble," according to his entourage. Contacts with OM are reduced to a minimum; only Jose Anigo it sometimes leaves a message on his answering machine.

Ben Arfa is with his family in Paris and speaks with the aid of a personal fitness trainer.

"He is ready to play," said a close. But he found a club or so qu'Hoffenheim Benfica have retired, the Werder Bremen Brazilian chose Wesley and Newcastle always seem so timid?

OM seeks a solution in Italy

The question being posed seriously in the offices of the OM. Anigo and advise the player, Michel Ouazine, each seeking their side a drop point. Frederic Guerra, he took a step back from the record. Hatem Ben Arfa Officer since April at the request of his father, he has seen many clubs out, stunned by the stroke of Ben Arfa, who sent Jean-Claude Dassier waltz, Aug. 12, just as leaves and objects on the presidential office. Today, Guerra would only be mandated by the OM to find a loophole in Ben Arfa on the side of Italy.

From what I can understand Ben Arfa is still not talking to Marseille but no one seems to want to sign him.

  13. Harper

    Perch  Colo  Williamson  Enrique

    Routledge  Guthrie  Barton  Routledge

    Carroll  Lovenkrands

Is what I'd play. Pretty much what most of us would have called our strongest line-up (disregarding injured players) last season, don't see why we should comprimise that by playing twats like Smith just because we're in the Prem now.

It's a home game ffs, we should just go for it.

Interesting tactic.  Routledge playing both flanks may just work.

  14. the situation is dassier is a moron who seems hopelessly out of his depth in his job

Not really.. I think he is looking after the interest of l'OM, not NUFC's, in the way you would expect him to tbh...

That would be fair comment if we hadn't agreed a deal which he renegade on. The agent himself has said they set conditions which we met, only for them to turn around and change the conditions.

Like we did with Milner a couple of seasons ago?

Yeah but we are also run by a moron who seems helplessly out of his depth in his job.

  15. Well I reckon thats it then, if we were interested we have left it far far too late to tie up the deal.  His inclusion in the France squad will have bumped up his valuation, and Benfica have now got £18m to spend after selling Ramires to Chelsea, so we can't hope to compete for Ben Arfa they will simply outbid us, also, the time wasted trying to tie up this deal means we have also missed out on Cleverley.  Looks like we will have to rely on the kids now!

    WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!!!
