Pandev to the toon!
Too far?
-
Ben Affleck as Peter Ramage
Because they're both shit at what they do?
-
well one problem would be that reading are down as not being older than being creating 1984, which considering it's the oldest team currently in the premiership is a little bit rich to take.
-
chelsea are fulhams 'local rivals' so as it's from a fulham forum you have to accept there is a decent amount of bias just as the fact that fulham are top.
Unless this was done independantly but i'd find that surprising given the relative positions i just explained.

i thought that Maric, Tomasson and Guivarch were going to be HUGE for us ... woops. I was quite young though.

Has Troisi played for the full team? he played a friendly but that surely doesn't count.
Yes he has
Which match?
-
Because the question was asked on the other forum with that stipulation - if you included Irish players I imagine you'd have to look up pre-war players. Those not from the British Isles makes it generally easier to get a rough idea of who have played for the club from abroad, and compare to other teams.
The question is how many players have played for Newcastle in the premier league. How many pre war players have lived long enough to play in the premier league?

Why not include Irish? I understand N.Irish, Scottish and Welsh because they're not foreign, they're part of Britain but Ireland isn't. It's a totally different country. Why not say Don't include the French while we're at it or Americans.

I missed this up until now but saw this on TV last night
You know the apology might be insincere when......you stand there with a grimace on your face while your lawyer reads it.
It's not his fault, he would have read out the apology but he was utterly pissed.

latest bid £5,100!
Yeah, its been hijacked.
Great result yesterday Speccy!
You outplayed them too, your defense, particularly the centerbacks, were an unmovable force!
best metaphor ever!

Significantly more frightened now but I still don't think it's likely we'll go down. Fulham/Derby have already all but booked their places so we only need to avoid one spot.
Reading will be the ones to do it for us I Think. Their current form makes ours look like a little blip. (Seven league losses on the trot, 1 goal in the last 6 games.)
Apparently reading haven't actually picked up a single point in 2008. Somehow we think we're getting relegated? I hate this season because it's been embarresing and completely uneventful but i am certain we are not going down and I am hopeful for next season.

Nope.
Reading/Birmingham/Fulham/Sunderland
That's at least 6 points, which would give us 34, more than enough imo.
This is the best answer to the question. We need four wins to give us forty points and we have these four at home to come (birminghams at home right?) As well as some other winable games and some other drawable games. We have been on absolutely terrible form and yet twelve weeks ago i believe we were eight points from the drop zone so twelve weeks of which much has been terrible form and we have been caught up 1 point. People seem to see teams pulling away above us and assume that those below us are doing just as well. They aren't and they won't. This season is a write off which is dissapointing but i personally i'm very excited for next season.
-
At the start of the weekend we were 7 points from the dropzone. At the end ... we are 7 points from the drop zone. Really i just don't see it happening.

I think getting Zola in could be a really good move. This article is mostly being used as a stick to stir the pot of poo. I personally am not concerned at all about the situation.
-
Maybe i'm fishing for positives but i think the Italian game will suit him better and this will raise his stock, on top of that he will then have a european championship to play in the summer. If he does well there he could suddenly be worth a few bob and we could make a good profit.
Also with the odd natur eof the transfer (we said we wouldn't get rid of anyone) could it be that we are trying to develop good connections with Lazio because we are interested in a player? Pandev?
Ok maybe i'm stretching for positives.

How the f***?!?!
Isn't his curfew 7pm?
for a 19:45 match when he is meant to have a curfew where he had to be in hampshire for 19:00?
Great minds?

I am sorry supertoon but I have to disagree with you on your comments.
Got Milwall to the FA Cup Final (Yes he did and well done for that)
and near play offs (no they were not, they never were in a position to seriously challenge)
had some very good players like Cahill (perhaps if you think Cahill is a very good player)
did well at his short time at swindon (in what sense? dfidnt get them relegated true)and has took leeds near promotion despite 15 point deduction - no he took them to relegation, even his captain wanted to leave playing some of the worst football played at Elland road in the last 40 years. Poyet comes in and things make an improvement. I will concede that Wise chose Poyet and should take the credit for this. Leeds form since Poyet has left has been relegation form.
Now if we are looking at ayne from Div 1 Martinez must be an option - low budget, great team ethic, always is positive and by all accounts are playing football on the deck with movement (this is almost unheard of in this division)
Sorry mate but you obviously don't have a full grasp on the Dennis Wise history and have some bias. Even on the basis just of the Swindon fact which is that he had them first place by a clear way which is a damn site better than just not getting relegated. And Poyet didn't just become his assistant this season, he was Wise's assistant since Swindon. Does this mean that Wise gets the blame for the relegation and Poyet gets the credit for the good form?
Like i said you seem biased.

Just been reading some stuff about him where it says that for the national team he is given a free midfield role to do as he wishes. Perhaps he'll be the creative midfielder behind two strikers?
-
If a scoring scheme is 0-10 then why do they call it giving your "marks out of ten" 0-10 is eleven different marks.
It's meant to be 1-10 which means that 5 & 6 are equally middling. Whether you choose 5 as your basis or 6 is merely a point of view but i also i find it an interesting mark of personal outlook. I find the more pessimistic posters start with 5 and optimistic ones start with 6. In general it is accepted 6 is average i would say which may be an affect of champ man but i think its more that doing average you can get away with in a match so its more of a positive and so people use 6.

£10m + Ameobi. That would value Ashton at about £5m!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If that Sun story was true than Keegan would quit. There is no way Keegan would accept or do any of those things. Not even pledge his loyalty to the club because he knows he doesn't need to give that to Mike Ashley when the fan's know we have his loyalty already. If Keegan did quit i also think there would and should be mass revolt on Ashley.
Of course it's all bollocks anyway, i'm just dealing in the realms of what if we lived in an alternate universe where the sun doesn't spout constant shite.
