Good. Last thing we ought to be doing is trying to close down revenue streams for the club. How much money do you see this bringing in? No idea. Have a guess. Why? I haven't got a clue what this kind of advertising might be worth to the right company. Obviously the club thinks it's enough to be worth the bother. As long as we're still making a loss, whatever comes in, is good. Would you like a Sports Direct Billboard erected outside your house? It isn't his f***ing house though is it? So f***ing what? You asked him if he'd like it erected outside his house, that's what. Total non-sequiteur
  2. I've got no problem with a player sticking up for himself when he's getting a bit of stick, he didn't go over the top, he just let the player know that he wasn't going to just take it. Ranger seems arrogant which isn't always a bad thing as long as it's controlled. Was impressed by his attitude and don't think he did owt wrong. He tried hard, though it is clear he is no winger

Wasn't that cross delivered by Jose?
  5. I recommend you go mental right now just in case. no thanks
  6. I'll go chuffing mental if he doesn't get a work permit
  7. A legend - and was immense yesterday
  8. Holland U21 coach compared him to Patrick Vieira Yep, I saw that. Also read that he's played as a RB, DM and AM for Feyenoord. And that his name translates to "The King of Iron" in French. Which alone should make this potential signing a must. We've also signed the 'steel Ivorian' so they'd be quite a team
  9. Liked the Barton crack about the Andy Grey articles, why does that man detest us so much? What Barton say like? Fantastic result. Enjoyed the craic(again) in level 7. Loved the game. I thought the referee was absolutely shocking today mind! How many bookings did we get to Villa's one? F***ing joke http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/n/newcastle_united/8935090.stm Great interview. He's suprisingly well spoken too! sure his accent has changed
  10. I'd say so - Blackpool will sell their tickets, we'll be bolstered by this and our new signing(s) and folk will be back off their hols

Good I thought today. Some decent crosses (mixed in with the usual poor ones) and his link up play with Jose was top notch.

    Joey Barton

Deffo a yellow and as stated above it could have been a red.
  13. Douglas reckon's that the club would announce the signing this am - so it would make sensse to introduce him today
  14. Perfect as he can play in a couple of positions
  15. Hakuna Matata? Good luck in getting something to rhyme with that We got him, not Ben Arfa?
  16. I'd like to to start asap as he is one of the few reasons why I have some faith in us staying up

    Fraser Forster

This was speculated on in a scottish paper yesterday btw

    Fraser Forster

The itk on twitter is starting to believe his own publicity a bit too much imo.
  19. that's so wrong It's fairly importnat to be concerned about both. They are not mutally exclusive
  20. Shifting out s**** is an Ashley forte tbh. I'd expect Taylor to be the one shifted if anyone goes. Edit: hadn't seen that Dave btw. Bring in a club-less defender for nowt who has one or two seasons maximum left in him (if that) and sell a 24 year proven PL defender for a couple of million thats how to build for the future. Never said it would make sense tbh. Probably a load of s**** anyway, I'm just guessing. Ill be glad when the transfer window shuts and the football can start. The pre September fixtures always feel sort of irrelevant while players are still being touted around? Ahhh, but there will still be a few weeks of scanning out of date free agent lists and wondering where Paul Sharner et al will end up

Good shout. We need (and it the same at the back) a few players who can adequately cover a number of positions. eg a lad who can play on either wing, a left fullback who can also cover cb (better than Perch), a nipper striker who can drop baack into midfield if needed
