  1. I think the downside is that he won't be a Newcastle player at the start of next season. I think he will. He will, though, die at some point so maybe we could worry about that
  2. Wonder if he coud play off the front
  3. Eh? He's excellent. Trying way too hard to be articulate. Parody of himself Bollocks. So he should try and sound more stupid? Ffs man, finally get a commentator who makes an effort and he's being 'too articulate'. I didn't say he was being too articulate - more that he's trying too hard. It's contrived, he's been on countdown yer na. Just an opinion like, i'm not asking anyone else's piss to boil.

  5. There's not many i'd swap him for. With a decent quick striker with a predatory instinct long term I think he'll be dynamite
  6. It wasn't just the lack of noise for me, it was the way they turned their backs on their team, spineless bastards. im certain the toon army would have been defiant in thier place- shouting louder and longer- I have done this on the wrong side of 5s at anfield, OT, goodison+ other places. We were 5 down at old trafford about 3 years ago when my mate, a manc who was in the stretford end texted me. Said he'd never seen anything like the support coming from us. Completely drowned out the 60 odd thousand home support and "wish i was down there with you lot". After Allardyce got sacked - did ourselves proud that day

    Ryan Taylor

    Barton at Peterbro
  8. Please don't do that - it's so Spurs Champions League quality? No, just lacking class when beating local rivals. 50 times we've beaten them no need for t-shirts, dvd's, comedy spelling of teams name. Just a nice warm glow, a gloat and maybe a cheeky wank tonight will do me
  9. He had some licence to move inside today as they hade very little on the left going forward - especially with Bardsley playing out of position. Would be worried if he did it against better oppostion. Simpson was v good as well - hope he keeps that up.
  10. Touch of class the man. You can't help but wish good things for him. Not long till January!
  11. (To the tune of that kitchen at parties song on the advert at the mo - hope that it doesn't tempt fate) 'You'll always find us twatting Mackems in derbies'
  12. Aye, but 2 wins and we're in the top 5... it's pointless to speculate like that so early in the season. Correct, in that it is so early in the season that, in essence, the league table is the form table
  13. 8 players played well and we lost 4-0 at home Maybe 9 of theirs played better
  14. perch pen at Wolves was a shocker - but balanced out by assaults on Barton
  15. There may well be spunk in David Craig's bacon sarnies on Jan 31st next year after today

    Nile Ranger

Bit early in the guys career to be saying stuff like that. Thought he put himself about quite well at times tonight. Very raw though and needs to probably go out on loan. But can you ever see him getting 12+ goals a season? This time last year could you see Andy Carroll ever getting 10+ Premiership goals in a season? I thought Carroll was pretty poor as a striker for a good while & thought that he had a better chance developing as a centre half than as a centre forward but he got a great run of games last season and improved massively. Ranger will not really develop much further without a good run of games and he really needs to go out on loan to a Championship team to improve his game as he's not going to get enough time on the pitch here. Spot on
  17. Shit I forgot to put for those who want to know on my response
  18. I went to an Everton game recently, it was an away game too and you're right it was class
  19. Calderwood has only just gone. The new no 2 will follow soon I'm sure
