I'm going to back him as he is effectively our club at the moment. Haven't any choice.
-
Seems you're not the only club who has to sell to buy this summer eh MJ?
-
No doubt it will be for 4 years and 4 years only...
-
I've had a fair bit of stick from strangers like. On the plus side I had a bit of a pep talk from a random West Ham fan in the petrol station yesterday.
-
What did Keegan know in advance? In my opinion he's the right man, and most crucially, at the right time to unite our club. I'll be pretty devastated, as will our club, if he's not unveiled as our permanent manager in the next week.
-
Class post. The unity point is key. I genuinely think we can unite behind big Al.
-
Piece of crap moron and slow. I'm wounded, honestly. That you can't see the point astounds me. I think we ought to leave it at that.

I had high hopes for him and was impressed by his early performances. It's not all been his fault. The off field traumas and managerial changes, the lack of any kind of midfield etc have all served to undermine his confidence. However, he has too many flaws and apperas to have the heart of a goat. Sadly, he'll have to go. A real shame as I quite like him.

IS that 'sell to buy' Spuds?
-
It's relevant because your club are prone to doing exactly what you are slagging Juve for. It would be like me going on another club's board and spouting off that teams are paying over the odds and unrealsitic wages for over the hill mercenaries. I'd be leaving myself a little open to criticism wouldn't I? Of course it's relevant you pleb

SSN just showed shots of Ashley arriving at the training complex. Hilariously shot through the bushes
-
Your club paid for Bentley roughly waht you say Diego is worth. I think Diego is a t least the player Bentley is, plus the 50% you say they 've overpaid. Of course it's relevant.

Not sure they'd let him out on loan gain, but there will be other similar players available. On a side note we are in a really difficullt position. We need to build asquad (almost from scratch) to fulfill 2 tasks. We need a squad to get up and then (with only a few additions) hopefully compete at the top level again. All on a limited budget. Far from easy!

Wolves made good use of the loan system to get the likes of Mancienne
-
Aye, he's roughly on par with David Bentley
-
He played CM at Man City didn't he? I think I remember a pretty abject performance....
-
He said it himself in January. That the toll of having to play each week was getting too much and he's like to share the burden. It's criminal that he was in a position where he had to play every game of our run in. Wasn't particularly fair on him either imo
-
He strikes me as a paternal figure adn opinion leader too. This won't do our chances of keeping hold of Bassong any harm at all.
-
That would be a cracking back 4 at that level
-
Spot on. Hopefully Burnley will want him

The 50k a week report comes from Caulkin in the times. It'll therefore probably be accurate.

He's given us some dignity. It's not until you have seen that interview today that the total contempt and lack of dignity of JFK, Lambsarse et al comes into focus. The man isa legend and is the way forward for us managerially.

A pointless bump. Nevermind, it's just carlito's way

All he says is that he'd have a talk with the club at the end of the season about his future (We already new this), that he doesn't fancy the Championship much (a given) and that he thinks Big Al is great. I can't see the big eal about this to be honest. He's said next to nowt
