It's just shocking to watch the right side of our team. Guthrie is slow and offering nothing forward or back. Perch is every bit as bad as he has ever been. They are absolutely battering us. And we can offer no end product whatsoever in response. Enrique is going to have to score two goals to drag us back into it, he's the only one playing. Even Tiote is not playing well.

Barton at fault in the build-up to the second, Perch disappeared altogether, Williamson slow to react. We are about a million miles off the pace right now.

Our only dangerous play is coming from Enrique/Jonas on the left. Nowt from the right, particularly because Guthrie doesn't seem interested at all in staying on the right and Perch is horrible. Very unbalanced at the moment.

Why is it so hard for pundits/ex-players/etc to realize that there is a middle ground between completely eliminating any physicality from football and condoning the leg-snapping brutality of criminals like de Jong and Henry? You can disincentivize the clear thuggery without destroying honest physicality.
