It's like 20 pictures of the indoor training session, then randomly, Best just looking clueless alone out in the snow... "So, uh...what do I do now?" http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5046/5249198550_b5fe50a0b2_z.jpg

He's probably going to pronounce Wor Cheik as "TYE-OAT"

We are so much more fucked than even we expected.

From Simon 'The Cunt' Bird - Pardew: I am not going to win the pr battle. Have to win on pitch. I understood what would happen #nufc

What a fucking nightmare. Is the audio of this cunting shitfest going to be streamed live?

If he has indeed been party to a preemptive arrangement made several weeks ago, as is claimed, (or even just a week and a half ago) then he is part and parcel of the undignified and callous process we've been subjected to and deserves all the scorn he will receive. And he embodies all that is wrong with Mike Ashley's reign. That'll be enough right there.
-
He's earned plenty of negativity in the period of time he's been waiting in the wings to take over.

I desperately need another straw to clutch at.

I've actually heard it's going to be Cock Jol. COCK IN

Because of course Klinsmann would want ALAN FUCKING PARDEW as his assistant... http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Football/Pix/pictures/2008/10/07/lennartpreissafp460.jpg

Supporting Newcastle is second nature to me, so I could never ever turn away entirely. But it's like any relationship - as a supporter, you invest so much time, energy, money, emotion into something hoping to be repaid by success, trophies, sure, but also the feeling of pride that comes with believing in your club and believing that they care about the same things you do. It can't be measured in financial terms but it's always been a hallmark of the relationship between this club and these supporters. In this case, with the callous way Ashley has treated supporters, a lot of supporters will be divorcing themselves from Newcastle United Football Club. And that's entirely justified. You'll always check the results, you might even go to the matches, but you won't care quite as much because it hurts too much to see how that emotion is ignored and openly scorned. As much as I disagreed with so much about the way Freddy Shepherd ran the club, at least his mismanagement seemed to be done in the spirit of results and energizing the supporters. And he seemed to understand the relationship although at times he abused it. Ashley spits on it. I'm just more sad than angry. I can't even muster up the energy to be angry.

Closest to my feelings really, we've just seen the final confirmation that we have no chance under Ashley and no prospect of him leaving. We have been confirmed to the general public as a club run by a thoughtless cunt. Having the thought process of how this club is run put on public display like this is sickening. And laying bare the true motivations of Mike Ashley and knowing that a sale is so, so unlikely at this stage - with our eventual relegation making it even that much more difficult - seeing the formless void that is our future...yeah, it's the low point.
-
Definitely lowest for me. As others have said, this represents a concrete, irrefutable example of how this club is run and it is terrifying. We've always been clueless but now we're officially hopeless.

Basicaly imagine your mate crashes your brand new Audi and replaces it with a Y-reg Ford Escord, this is how it feels. I personaly wouldn't hold any qualms against the car, but I could never love and nurture it in the same way I did it's predecessor. That's fine, but it's not the car's fault, is it? It's not Pardew's fault he's a shit manager, no. But he's still a shit manager. A shit manager and not a particularly nice human being. A shit manager and not a particularly nice human being and a clear representation of everything that is wrong with the way this club is run.
-
Why don't we just appoint Ben Arfa as manager? He's not going to be doing much over the next few weeks...
-
Can't see this happening without guarantees of transfer money and more than decent wages. No way Ashley provides either. And doubt that Jol would truly follow Hughton like that, given their relationship. It's going to be Pardew and we will all hate it.
-
From Scott Wilson of the Echo via Twitter: Jol seems to be rapidly gathering pace. Close friend of Paul Kemsley, who in turn is a close friend of....you know who
-
Sacking Hughton for Pardew is an act of mental illness with zero chance of success. Sacking Hughton for Jol is a defensible gamble. We'll see.
-
Logically, if he's close to Hughton, I can't imagine why he'd come here based on how Hughton was treated. Illogically, PLEASE COME HERE MR JOL SINCE YOU ARE IN FACT A DECENT MANAGER AND ARE CRUCIALLY NOT ALAN PARDEW
-
From that Guardian Pardew article: If we keep this up, he's going to have an excellent chance of leading us to a Johnstone's Paint Trophy in a couple of seasons.

If it's not Pardew or Brown, it'll be: http://myopiclunacy.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/notwjewelr.jpg

If it's not Obama, I'll be disappointed. Failing that, I'd take Mandela.
