  1. Perch's ball in there was better than any Simpson has tried this year.. Edit: bar Everton, that one was lush
  2. Some of you are on some seriously slow rivers.. Tiote's already been sent off with a second yellow..

  4. Possibly the best match experience I've had live at SJP.
  5. i've never heard of half of them and also boiling my pisss seeing terry referred to as simply JT Err..
  6. As strong a lineup as we can muster. Worried about the strength of their midfield though. Let's hope Torres goes back to his form from earlier in the season..
  7. Day 3: http://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Actualites/Un-jour-avec-yohan-cabaye-3-5/280988 In the Premiership he is most impressed with Drogba (he's happy not to be a defender) and Stevy G. It gives him a real thrill to play with such players he used to admire on the telly, but out on the pitch he forgets who they are and gives his all. He has learned to become a "tougher" player over here, and sometimes even have a mean strike, mainly because of the refereeing in England where much fewer fouls are given than in France.
  8. It's Siem de Jong, not Seim. He's the older brother of Luuk de Jong and has one cap to his name, which was a post-world cup friendly in which 17 players were given debuts, so not exactly a regular at that level yet. He is however a regular in the Ajax side that will be crowned champions tonight for the second time in a row (barring a miracle). Plays as an attacking midfielder, but has also played as a forward for Ajax sometimes. From what I've seen (and I usually avoid seeing Ajax play such is my dislike for them) he is decent, but not at the level his younger brother is at.
  9. Nah not me, we need to be ruthless and buy players that will actually improve us for the foreseeable future and not some over the hill past it striker who will insist on insane wages. I agree with your sentiment regarding not signing him due to his age and wage demands, but you must not have seen a lot from him this season if you think he's over the hill and passed it. He's been fantastic, and I have a lot of respect for him going to the Bundesliga to actually play football in a real competition for a real club when he could easily have gone the way Anelka and others have gone, chasing the money.
  10. Dutch football magazine VI is reporting that Spurs are the first club to officially enter talks with the club and the player's agent, trying to move early in order to beat any competition to his signing. I personally believe he will end up at Arsenal however, like you say.
  11. Stop complaining. It can't be worse than the match..
  12. Damn, wanted Everton to be LTD when we go to Goodison...
  13. oh for f***s sake. Probably just going off what that lying c*** Pulis said on MOTD2. What? Liverpool lost over there didn't they?
