Hate the penalty decision, but those two are uncomparable. One is an actual foul (dont think it's a penalty personally, because Icardi was never going to get to the ball). But that second one is nowhere near a penalty. Flip! (I factually agree with you if I'm being honest)

Two major things wrong with that decision. It was completely accidental and the ball was going straight to the keeper, so he was never ever going to score if the contact hadn't happened. How can a set of professional referees look at that passage of play multiple times and come to such a pathetic decision FFS?

There is no point. It's only served to make the game worse.

Ridiculous penalty decision

Would rather someone just shot him tbh I was actually thinking over the weekend if someone like Shearer could not make a decent footballer out of him yet. Apart from an obvious lack of technical ability when it comes to hitting a ball (which can be worked on at the training ground) the main issue is a complete lack of hunger and drive to get into goal scoring positions, something in which Shearer excelled. You look at Joelinton and think he has something about him, but he's completely goal shy and when he does get into a goalscoring position he just seems to shrink. Makes you wonder what kind of training our centre forwards do quite frankly.
