Edit: hang on #2, from what I’m reading this contract is against the club’s parent company rather than the club itself. Could even be the two charlatans are using it elsewhere than to put into the club, or am I missing something. All sounds quite fishy the way this is unfolding. Best case for them the Americans take control and put a plan in place to revitalise the club. Any other scenario and this nudges them closer to the abyss.

This, sadly. The only thing that has changed in the past two or three years is that previously people assumed there was no interest in the club and that was the reason we were stuck with him. A few high profile transfer sagas have at least put that myth to rest and nobody should now be in any doubt that the only reason he is still here is because he wants to. He’s bleeding us dry and we are letting him even now in the full knowledge and understanding of what is happening. It’s gutting for us fans who have seen the potential of this club before the parasite arrived and those who have tried to make a stand, either by joining in protests or by stopping to hand over their money, but by now I fear we are stuck with him until he has finally had enough or his shitty business goes under (here’s hoping).

Malen and this lad in bold look promising, but Depay is doing brilliant for us in that role and is only still 25 himself as well. I don't think we have a Van Nistelrooij type on the horizon, but perhaps we'll get a dynamic front three all capable of scoring and some players in midfield who chip in with the odd goal too, like Wijnaldum has been doing well in recent years for us.
