You are barmy if you think Salah is only worth 20m. He’ll recoup that in shirt sales alone. Whether we like it or not, he’s one of the best and most well known football players around and he will be a valuable (and expensive) asset, especially to a middle eastern audience.

You shouldn’t be, as it’s none of our business what PIF do or don’t do. They own us, not the other way around. If all things considered they deem it in their interests to do a deal they will. Be concerned about what they do with respect to Newcastle United by all means, which so far includes turning us around from being relegation fodder to regular CL participants, winning a cup and investing the maximum allowed by the rules (put in place to hinder us) on the player side. Yes, there are things that can yet be improved upon, but surely when it comes to us they’ve got more right than wrong since taking over.
