Absolutely. Develop top youth facilities, recruit elite youth coaches and bring in some of the best available talent in the 15-18 age range. In a few years time we should have a conveyor belt of saleable assets and the odd Miley to keep us ticking over. Clearly due to FFP we can’t just bring in the finished article and expect to compete with the likes of City in a few years time. Also this approach makes us sustainable, so that if the Saudis were to leave the foundations would still be in place to keep the club going at the highest level.
