  1. That team man. Take RvP out and you've barely got 20 caps between them..
  2. Unbelievable

    Loïc Remy

People have read speculation that there is an escape clause in Remy's contract and have automatically assumed he is allowed to leave for free, probably because that was the clause Ba had with West Ham. There is absolutely no reason to believe this is the case with Remy though.
  3. I think Villa at home last season was the first match after Cisse and Ba returned from ACON duty, and they both played IIRC
  4. Nah, he'll get the two Metalist games and if he does well he keeps his place for Premiership duty.
  5. I'm tired of this Shola debate. I was tired of it six f***ing years ago..
  6. 45 seems achievable. id settle for that and winning the Europa Cup Like. You've done it again
  7. Aye, I've already started to dream about what we can do next season with this squad and one or two additions. Shame this season essentially feels like a write off.
  8. I'm hoping for 10th-ish. In my dreams I can see us overtaking Liverpool and getting to 7th though.
  9. Unbelievable

    Loïc Remy

This looks like he's just slipped a finger in both
  10. Vision is the ability to see the pass. The execution though is something else. I don't think I've even seen Cabaye or Ben Arfa put in swerved low balls like that very often.
  11. Besides all the obvious stuff one thing that's really struck me in these two matches is his uncanny ability to play in the striker with a "bent" low pass that takes the ball exactly in the forward's run, i.e. the assist on Cisse vs Villa from the inside of his right foot, and another great ball vs Chelsea with the outside for that Cisse shot from the edge of the area. Also, the weight on these through balls is near enough perfect. So much to love about this bloke, hope he can keep this level up..
  12. one problem with the man u theory, Fergie seems ignorant purposefully or otherwise of the need for a better central midfield, its not a new thing for them Aye. He'd much rather spunk that 20 million on a Brazilian 17 year old winger he's only ever seen on Youtube, thank God.
  13. Would take a massive offer, think 25+ million, for us to even contemplate letting him go, and luckily I don't think anybody values him quite that highly.
  14. I think this will be a fascinating contest. With the amount of pace in both sides, whoever scores first has a massive chance of winning. For us, it will be crucial to give Santon and Debuchy as much protection as we possibly can. I wouldn't mind us sitting a bit deeper than normal (Cabaye and Jonas either side of Tiote/Anita (or even Perch) versus this lot and try to hit them on the break with the pace of Gouffran and Sissoko.
  15. This ties in with what I've said above: http://www.vi.nl/nieuws/235391/Douglas-laat-toenadering-van-FC-Anzhi-onbeantwoord.htm Anzhi have made a move for Douglas as a Samba replacement, but he has declined the possible move because he wants to see out his contract with Twente.
  16. Is he still expected to be in the squad for Spurs?
