  1. Nah, I think we could get 2 milion easily, based on the fact he's English, Premiership proven and of a good age. His contract is up in 5 months man. Don't know what your point is? We are seemingly paying Toulouse a decent fee to get Sissoko now rather than in the summer, when he can come in for free. All it takes is a Premiership club desperate for a right back with Premiership experience. If it wasn't for his contract situation I think we could have got double that amount, as his stock seems to be pretty high outside of Newcastle city boundaries.
  2. Don't know if his injuries are in anyway related, so you may be right in that sence, but he's missed a fair few games for us since, so it's either that or he is just "unlucky" with regards to injuries.
  3. As good as Ben Arfa is, there's no getting away from the fact he's more than a little injury prone unfortunately, which I can see as something that would put off bigger clubs from ever going for him.

  5. Thanks for the clarification quayside!
  6. Unsurprising given that 'asset boost'(whatever the hell that means) occurred the previous year........ I'm comparing them to the year which had them. Which means our finances actually improved significantly without that one off asset boost. You are talking rubbish as those figures for the previous year do not include player sales In our official accounts they do. That has nothing to do with your claim that the figures in the deloite list dont include the Carroll sale ffs What I'm saying is our turnover has passed what we made the previous year despite the Carroll sale. Which shows how much more the club made due to it's successful season. I'll admit the 1st post was misleading though. The Carrol sale has absolutely nothing to do with it, it would never be included in club turnover. You know much more about football finance than me obviously, but why would income from player sales be excluded from the revenue reported for that period? Its extraordinary income, ie not normal day to day income iirc That I understand, but in my business extraordinary income (i.e. selling an asset) stills shows on my accounts as revenue, unless I'm horribly mistaken? Does it not work the same in football?

  8. I didn't say I wouldn't be happy getting him, but based on that little evidence I wouldn't expect him to come in at left wing and be a success straight away. At 4 million or whatever it is they are asking it would be a pretty big gamble iyam.
  9. Looks far from the finished article from that Thauvin vs Bordeaux youtube vid.
  10. The Robbe, Di Maria and Messi () "comparison" was apparently made after he pulled a nice little technical move: http://www.francefootball.fr/#!/news/2012/04/27/212147_thauvin-le-diamant-brut-bastiais.html
  11. Yay! Squad number 11 rather suggests he's seen as a first team player, rather than Cisse backup; don't know what to make of that. Here's hoping he's another Ba and does considerably better than his price tag and previous record suggests.
  12. Can't believe Arsenal haven't made a move as their two reported long term targets have now both moved.
  13. Nah, I think Saylor will start and play for 45/60 minutes (as long as he can fitness-wise basically), at which point we bring on Yanga-Mbiwa for his debut.
  14. Get an error message when tryying to access the news section on the San Lorenzo website: Not Found The requested URL /seccion/El_Club/Noticias/ was not found on this server. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Apache Server at www.sanlorenzo.com.ar Port 80 Fucking amateurs..
  15. Not sure about that. IF we sign those mentioned today we have; Krul, Elliot, Harper Simpson, Perch, Raylor, Saylor, Colo, Mbiwa, Williamson, Santon, that French left back, Tavernier, Debuchy. Bigi, Abeid, Cabaye, Tiote, Anita, Sissoko, Jonas. Shola, Cisse, Obertan, Marveaux, Ben Arfa, Gouffran, Sammy. Probably missing a couple but that's not the weakest squad. through ferguson in there aswell and Gosling Vuckic and Ranger too
  16. A league 2 side actually.
  17. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11678/8427676/Fabricio-Coloccini-s-father-claims-Newcastle-player-is-anxious-to-join-San-Lorenzo How about you go and buy a f***ing defender then you absolute c***s! Don't understand how they can be allowed to openly talk like this in public, if it was us we'd have been done for tapping up weeks ago. Outrageous..
