I've seen a fair bit of him and I think 10 million is a fair price. Certainly wouldn't go much higher than that. The problem with setting a price is you don't necessarily just pay what you think a player is worth. For the selling club there is also the consideration of having to find a replacement, importance to the team and whether they have already sold other players to balance the book, such as Twente have done with Ola John. If they lose De Jong and Douglas they are essentially looking at a rebuilding job and can presumably forget about challenging for the title whereas if they don't they will be in the mix. How much is something like that worth? The latest set of quotes from his manager will really help us and other interested parties though, it's no use hanging on to a player who has made up their mind about wanting to leave.
