Yup, which is what most managers seem to do and makes sense, trust what brings you success, while tweaking and fine tuning where possible. We could have been pumped worse completely deviating from our plan.

Villa, Bournemouth, Spurs to a lesser extent have had to shift players to strengthen overall and we’re no different. Who that player is will be interesting….Bruno, Isak, Gordon?

They didn’t have to and I imagine sitting back, containing us when we had the ball was why they were so fresh towards the end when they punished us for the errors.

They didn’t make the sloppy mistakes we did and when they attacked, passed I around us pretty consistently. I like your optimism, but we didn’t create anything of note or bring Isak any sort acceptable service.

Really proud of what we did up to this match and Eddie for taking us on that run. He looked quite frustrated on the touch line today and justifiably so. Poor guy must be having nightmares about facing his old team.

What I’m annoyed at the most is they do this (play style) every time we play them and we’re none the wiser for it. I didn’t see anything different from us, either, played right into their tactics perfectly and got pasted.

The playing around us was the most shocking part. We were chasing them around our own half and the amount of space they created to operate in was impressive.

Fair, agree to disagree. I just think we’re far above losing by that score line, in that manner, at home to Bournemouth.

It’s embarrassing because we’re a better team than losing 4-1 at home to a good Bournemouth side. We made terrible mistakes that cost us any sort of momentum in the game. To not be embarrassed is ridiculous.

Well done to Bournemouth, they took full advantage of the stupid mistakes and sloppy play. Bad day at the office, but perfect opportunity next week to get back on track.
