  1. 2nd goal was offside and Ronnie's dive was good enough for the 10m springboard.
  2. Camp Nou, I still find myself in awe of 100,000+ watching a football match. Simply remarkable.

Well done, lads. Like the others said, keep it updated and you've got ye'selves a jim dandy site there.

    Pathetic

Mate, are you a used car salesman? Some of your comedy screams of it.
  5. I agree, let's hope they're sick of losing and decide to play with the heart to get us out of this mess.
  6. Apology accepted, good day to your sir. bluebiggrin.gif
  7. I'm worried as well, but I think the lads will be up for this one. I think Martins and Emre will net for us.
  8. Who cares, tbh. Just ignore them like the rest of the world does.
  9. I hope there is a hint of sarcasm in this statement.
  10. Werder Bremen ready to consider offers for Klose http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=394607&cc=5901 BERLIN, Dec 4 (Reuters) - Werder Bremen will consider letting striker Miroslav Klose leave at the end of the season, according to club sporting director Klaus Allofs. The 28-year-old Klose, top scorer at the World Cup in Germany this year, has a contract until 2008 but he has expressed an interest in moving abroad. Werder have not given up on getting him to sign a new contract but they appear ready to do a deal next year rather than see him leaving on a free transfer 12 months later. 'If he expresses a wish (to go) we will deal with any enquiries,' Allofs said in Monday's edition of Kicker. 'But we'll do everything to convince him to stay. A change would only be possible if the financial details were right and we had a replacement ready.' Werder regained top spot in the Bundesliga on Saturday when Klose struck twice in a 3-1 victory over Hertha Berlin, taking his tally for the season to 10 league goals. Werder's next game is away to Barcelona on Tuesday, when a point will be enough to send them through to the last 16 of the Champions League while knocking the holders out. Price tag might be a little too high. I think I'd rather have Klose than Bent, tbh.
  11. Well, maybe they should (West Ham) concentrate on finishing off Tevez's hard work and not so much on corners. :winking:
  12. I think either you made that up Or the guy is a total fecin lunatic. As much as Bellamy hadn't impressed before today, I don't know of any Liverpool fan who has even the slightest clue about football that would want that lazy work shy whiner Cisse back in a red shirt. For all his faults, Bellamy at least can play football once in a while when his mind isn't on court cases. Cisse is a clothes horse (and a really bad one) and nothing else. No, he's a wife beater.
  13. Eyes in the back of his head.
  14. Looks pretty accurate, although I'd love Liverpool to be #2.
  15. We haven't lost in Europe, mate. :winking: I wouldn't care how we played if it were the same in the league.
  16. Agreed, now if we could replicate this form in the league...
  17. absolutely, great battling and work ethic, but his good passing was nulified by his poor and sloppy ones. Needs to get back on the score sheet. Completely different to last season when he constantly drove forward when on the ball, now he stops to assess where he is going and generally ends up going backwards. In effect we are still lacking an attacking midfielder. Dyer?
  18. I thought he played pretty well. He defo showed more quality than PUQUE. That cross was sublime and if the defender was man to man with Sib's, we'd have won 1-0.
  19. Nothing drives me more insane than this. If we're going to play for a draw or a 1-0 win from the off, I'd rather have played the youth FFS. Instead we get dribble in which the likes of Blackburn are famous for.
  20. no yeah I know what Festivus is, but at first I thought he said because Fener had scored... but they didn't, just pure randomness I guess I threw it out there when you mentioned 'making a wish'. Random, but whatever.
  21. Survived some terrible finishing from Frankfurt, but we are group leaders and that's all that counts. Yay, we're the best of the group of death!
  22. Murderwinkdink, what happened, mate?
  23. Wishful thinking tbh. Another festivus miracle!!!
  24. To achieve the same levels of accuracy as that I'd have to describe Newcastle as being the most successful in Europe having won the Champions League for the last 10 years in succession, with a fanbase that eschews replica shirts, and a chairman who doeas the job for free, is loved by all and has an incredible ability to always choose the right manager. Glory hunter.
