Do we only scout players who perform well against us? He was OKAY for Liverpool in 23/24 with 11 goals and 8 assists. I'd be open to see if Eddie can get a tune out of him as long as his salary demands aren't ridiculous (they will be).

Brentford are 6 points a head of us and lost 3 of their best players and head coach. They bought well, just as many as us, who feature regularly in their first 11. I think I'd rather he say "if we sell Bruno, we're as fucked as the results showed losing 4 in a row"

While I see where he's coming from and believe myself that continuity is needed, but when you bought players who were unable to adapt to your system, where does that leave us? We have a whole season of proof that change is needed and he's remaining steadfast that it's time that's needed more than anything for success to happen on the pitch? This could also be him feeding the journos some soft sound bites more than what's actually going to take place.

I’m good with this, there’s been so much change, that a bit of continuity is necessary. I think this season has humbled him a bit as previously he could do no wrong. He’s definitely lost some influence he previously had within the club, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing as there’s enough responsibility and pressure from the managers role itself. I hope he turns it around and gets the club back to the potential we have previously seen.
