For me its the one local thing that everyone can be proud of. Big industries have gone, local areas have been left to rot by successive cunts in suits. Yet the civic pride and togetherness is still there. You have radgies with their pants tucked in to their socks, standing and singing side by side to posh boys from Gosforth. At heart Geordies are kind caring people who want to help others. It's just a shame there are so many people, from outside and within the area that look to divide us. I feel the players do get it, they interact with people everyday and will have seen first hand how wonderful the people of the region are. That's what makes all of this extra special that we have a group of players and staff who get it. They're fucking class, but not massive twats. Met some Liverpool fans on the train down, Sunday morning. They were just members but had managed to get to all cup games and champions league games. Only paid £20 for their cup games at anfield as well. Not sure how many season ticket holders they have or how they allocated final tickets. But for all the shit the club got it does seem our season ticket holders and cup games did work. Atmosphere was perfect on Sunday and the standing made a big difference. In an ideal world you do allow more non season ticket holders to events as there are hundreds of thousands of fans. Making sure they're supporters though no idea. We also need more standing areas at SJP. Bottom half of the gallowgate at the very least should be standing. We've also shown people can get stuck in with the noise now to bring that volume to "easier" home games.

Three entries bought, fingers crossed. Side note @Heron the entrance I use for my seat at SJP doesn't have a flag over it (posh seats). Is this something where I could get a flag made to be put in place, or would I need to speak to the club first? Obviously nothing daft on the flag.

I'm not going to this, fortunate enough to see it live on Sunday and will be at SJP for the rest of the home games. I like the idea of having something for people to go to an celebrate especially when most fans won't get a chance to get in to SJP. Would have preferred a bus tour as then its more of a street party but I can see why they've gone for a central event space. Week on Wednesday at home vs Brentford should be rocking mind.

Watching the game back, Salah truly fucked liverpool with his laziness. Tino was able to carry the ball forward so easily under zero pressure, creating the second goal that way. Makes me thankful for our wide players who work just as hard going backward as they do forward.
