    Joe White

Looked lively and had a lots of energy, kept the ball moving. Nothing amazing but nice change considering Miley was knackered. With how this season has gone hopefully see a bit more if him to rest the paper thin midfield when we can.
  4. Was entertaining though I've written this season off in my mind, so just here for the entertainment. Classic weak ref, though he didn't really.impsxt the result. The Gordon break in the second half where their guy tried to hook him around the neck. Good advantage but it's a booking. We just looked but disjointed and didn't have the energy in midfield. How we fix that with players out and not being able to buy anyone, who knows. Getting bit sick of the ball in to LB channel score across the keeper mind.
  5. I've thought about FFP but I can't quite work out a solution. Only idea would be that you have a set cap that applies to all teams in a league, possibly backed up by funds held in a different account to stop clubs going bust. On the pitch somes idea, these are coming from other sports so not expecting them to be liked Substitutions: Currently its a total pisstake how long it takes. Change it, so that it still happens when the ball is out, but the board is held up (Say Isak off, Wilson on), then the game restarts. Wilson can't come on until Isak gets off either at the far side or runs over to the 4th official. If you have multiple subs then they have to sort themselves out, no more slowly walking off nonsense. Offside: Make it be daylight between players, I know this just moves the goalposts but its far less intrusive and reduces the nose being offside nonsense we have now. I'd mandate the automated offside system in all top leagues too. VAR: I personally don't mind it, but they are way too slow and inactive. Using automated offside would help them out, I'd like to try a challenge/referral system too, one challenge per half/game. Boils my piss as well when you can clearly see on a replay that its a corner and not a GK but VAR don't do anything, those moments can have just as much impact as a freekick etc. Sin Bins: I'm a big fan of these, far better than a worthless yellow card. How you introduce them to football I'm not sure but the current idea for cynical fouls and backchat is good. I suppose you could make a blue card (what a shit colour) count towards players yellows for suspensions and if they get booked again in that game its a red. Backchat to officials: Anyone swearing at the ref is an instant sin bin, no fucking about stop all the moaning and pressuring officials. Doesn't happen in other sports as they do something about it. Or you make the team captain responsible for their teams actions, so if two players rush the ref thats two yellows and the captain gets sent off. Refs writing names on cards: Does my head in when someone is fouled and the ref takes 40 seconds to pull out a card and book someone. Don't stop the game flowing you can write it down or book them later.

  7. Bubbles popping everywhere. Arsenal are good but not 6-0 good.
  8. West Ham have imploded here, looked solid and then boom.
  9. Jacob Murphy as a DM sweeper, he has all the gas. Or maybe we could play Schar as a DM....
  10. Just seen that Botman plays the ball away from the Forest player, who then runs in to M Dubs. If he doesn't have control or even possession of the ball it can't be a pen. Notice that Rednapp didn't even notice Botman had tackled him.

  12. I mean they get involved everywhere for red cards, for a ridiculous foul like that they should be saying something.
  13. This is where VAR should be used, its a blatant foul and a free kick. Why they can't tell the ref that I'll never know.
  14. Surely a 10 match ban for assaulting the linesman? 😉
  15. Fucking hate havertz, such a fucking rat. Going down like he's been punched in the face.

  19. Surely the sensible thing to do would be to have a flat rate cap on sponsorships. So shirt sport max is £50 million, sleeve £10 million etc. Then everyone is playing from the same rule set. Or instead of the wage 70% thing, you have a flat wage cap (like NFL). This could be based on the largest income in the league the previous season? I suppose with that you have owners who would just throw money in vs growing the revenue.

    Dogawful Officiating

If actually like them to follow other sports and make the captain responsible for this. A player shouts at the ref, captain is booked. Manager it coach abused the 4th official captain is booked. Ideally the captain (or a nominated outfield player if GK is captain) is the only one who can approach officials. Anyone else running up to the ref gets booked. Refs aren't great but shouting at them and surrounding them is t going to change their mind, so just book everyone who does. If course refs won't do it, but if they did and players got sent off it would soon stop.

    Match Atmosphere

Was looking yesterday and if they made all the grey seats close to the pitch safe standing it would certainly help. Maybe not in the east stand as they won't like it, and people will have to be moved in the Gallowgate. Watching the Man U game, so many are constantly standing, don't think we have that at SJP. But yes another signing corner opposite the Strawberry corner would certainly help.
  23. Surely they can have a system that takes a few seconds and pings the ref if they were off. So linesman gives the obvious ones, if its tight no flag and the system can check it. The injury excuse it stupid, its just a bias like yesterday.
