Absolutely. Let's get behind the guy! Really does look like a good buy. I can't see him getting 20+ goals this season because it just doesn't happen like that, and to be fair, i'll be chuffed if he even gets 15. Next season and beyond is when he'll be best for Newcastle. I've got a rascal of a ponder in the back of my mind, that we should start Rossi and Martins for the next game (not Manu obviously). Rossi looked really good when he came on. Very sharp.

Duff can play upfront aswell, and let's not TOTALLY rule out Dyer. I know he's worth forgetting, but you never really know. We can cope striker-wise until January. Let's face it, in the UEFA Cup - we've got the Tallinn games and the group stage to concentrate on. WE're hardly going to need five strikers in the squad for those games.

I think we can buy another striker in January when we've recouped time and money. I think we have sufficient cover upfront until the next transfer window - and our most pressing needs are at the back. If we were going to buy Viduka today; why did we even bother with Rossi?
