Pards needs to change it.

Cisse never makes sure...Always with the fancy.

Cajun and now Yorkie! The sith grow powerful...

Coaches that are universally liked by the players are suspect imo.

Reckon we'll do well to keep him this summer.
-
If Pardew is the long term answer then we might as well give him some Stoke type players, I agree. It's the ideal Pard transfer.
-
It's about shape not movement silly.
-
He'll be back in the summer.

The gaps between the lines are too big. The team is too stretched. We play too deep. The striker is isolated most of the game. We go long too often. We run around pointlessly. Keeper kicks it out too much. Sissoko isn't an atm. We don't understand what tempo means. We only have one gear in posesssion - panic. etc.....

His plan is to play Cisse off Carroll. It's so patently obvious. Carroll will be here in the summer. Obvious he wants him here, just got to hope the club have more sense and sack him instead. Our team will consist of skells fighting over the second ball like rats outside a soup kitchen.

It was between days, Pards slipped in between a time space continuum masked as he was by the distraction of the dismissed Hughton. Pards de-cloaked somewhere inside the belly of SJP and unfolded his pair of dark russet wings. He waited in the darkness and he made his plans...Against us...

We spent 6 fukin months just kicking it at Ba (we know this cause he said as much himself on French telly).
-
He's done. Two straight defeats against Wba and Liv and we'll be in serious relegation troubles...Pure luck we have a Qpr game coming when they'll already be down, which will prob get us the final 3 points to save us.

I actually don't think the lack of attacking pattern is really this team's biggest problem. Managers like Redknapp prefer to leave the offensive stuff up to players as much as possible, he mainly finds the right type of player, but most importantly, actually plays them in a position (and formation) that complements their natural abilities. Right now we've got a defensive midfielder that can't play football that well, playing as some all-action centre mid. An attack-minded central midfielder with limited physical capabilities, also playing as some all-action mid. The only true box-to-box player we have is playing as a striker who's not helping out the aforementioned 2 enough, and we have an AM and a striker on the wings. The midfield '3' in particular, is a mess, no wonder they don't look at all cohesive. It's what I said a bit earlier in the thread. I believe this is cause of Pards particular paranoias...He likes Cabaye to play from deep and he likes a tackler upfront (sissoko) to do some hounding. I agree that triangle would be better turned on its head. I bet he will never start Marv and Hatem in the same game...Ever.

At least two Who? Felliani is top scorer. They don't have anybody else in the top 20. They have 5 players on 5 goals or more in the league including Jelavic and Felliani who have 18 between them. We've got two - Cisse and Cabaye. Yeah I was looking at that, but Gouffran and Sissoko have only just arrived - these two are good for 5/6 goals each a season easily. Hatem uninjured is worth ten....Ah I see the trap of this argument now.. I guess there is a case to be made with this regard, but Norwich, WBA and Swansea have all been in the top 5 this season and none of those sides are blessed with a spread of goalscorers. Still maintain we don't create enough and that is the root of it all. We don't do that cause we sit too deep and it seems players don't have the license to get forward/get told off....

We literally don't have any wingers yet we cross the ball alot...Why? Cisse is crap in the air yet most balls he deals with are lobbed or floated at him...Why? When on the few ocassions the mf come up who goes into the box (apart from Cisse) and who comes short to split the defence? (Nobody)... It's like 80's school football.

Spurs have Bale only really scoring since Defoe got inj...Liv - Saurez only for ages, Villa - Benteke, S'hampton - Lambert, Wba - Lukaku, Sunlun - Fletcher (for ages the only one scoring), Felliani is the top scorer for Everton ffs!! The key thing is creating chances and setting up a side that knows what should happen when in posession and to see patterns that are repeated (coach has explained how to attack a particular side etc)... Sit too deep and att responsability is mostly with 2/3 players - not going to happen.
-
Dyer and Routledge have been morphed into players who get chances to score in the PL and have the confidence now to look for goals. Getting chances to score is MUCH MORE important than having goalscorering specialist. Most sides bar the top 5 only have 1/2 out and out goalscorers.

Agreed here. Players need to take some blame too. Cabaye is nowhere near as good as what some people make him to be. Except he is. Cabaye is very good. Even the best central midfielders in the world would look dejected playing for this team at the moment. This team isn't as good as many say. Don't agree this is top 6-7 team on paper in anybodies reckoning. It just has no attacking routines or interplays drilled into it. It's nowhere near. Count the amount of goals in the team. You could say that about Swansea or Wba and you could have said that about Liv for the first half of the season.

Got a nice flop over backwards trick when someone comes near him mind.
