If bringing through youth is part of the puzzle Taylor is ideal.

So tell me where Taylor was a good coach at? Where he gained this rep? I can only think of his time with England U21s. Had good spells at Palace, Hull, Leicester and 2 good stints at Eng U21 where he was very highly valued by the fa.

I hate to be so defeatist but he is bound to fail and almost certain to do so in a big way, mostly because he's simply not good enough but also because he's always going to be a 1 defeat away from being... type of manager in the eyes of fans. Having said all that it would be bloody typical of NUFC for him to actually go on to become some kind of messiah on Tyneside. Sadly I see nothing but failure ahead for our club under his management.
