Good Post. No doubt you'll be called an Ashley apologist by Dave etc though still. Of course Barton brought it on himself. And Enrique's trying to bring it on himself too....and Danny Simpson it's starting to seem. Harper's said nowt though...best keeper at the club, but he's been pushed into the reserves on Tuesday. No future as a strong presence in the changing room it seems. Smith's in the reserves too. Nolan said nowt publicly. Carroll said nowt publicly. You don't see players at.....say...Stoke City queueing up to get out do you? It's an exodus of our very best players. If enrique goes it's 4 of them in 6 months. Tiote and Coloccini are the only remnants of actual premier league quality left to us. I don't give a shit aout any individual player that doesn't want to be at the club. But to point the finger at ALL these players rather than the man showing them the door is ridicuous. Well said. It's basically the toxic combination of greedy and idiotic players and Mashley the crazy horse.

A recepie for disaster and finally the main course. Clueless and visionless owner + wideboy thick footballer.

The Arsenal support voted with their feet, as much as with their voices, after watching a performance that was typical, in many ways, of their frustrating season. The players, despite being on the front foot for much of the match, struggled to capitalise on their chances while at the back they undermined themselves grotesquely. Unhealthy doses of bad luck completed the picture. Booed off at half-time and full-time, they then had to endure a lap of appreciation in front of a stadium that was barely a third full. Arsenal's supporters continue to rage at the ticket price hikes for next season while the lack of silverware has fuelled the discontent. They now face a battle to finish in third place and, if Manchester City were to win their remaining two fixtures, Arsenal would be pressed into an unwanted Champions League qualifying tie at the beginning of next season. The post-match lap was excruciating, although the majority of the home fans who did stay did their best to drown out the jeers. Arsène Wenger and plenty of the players looked as if they wanted to be elsewhere and perhaps some of them will be next season."

Could miss out on Europe with the disaster than ensued today.
-
The important thing right now is that they miss out on Europe.
-
Anyones in particular come to mind that might progress?

Yet they love all the free EU money for their fat pig farmers and cheese snufflers.

"Patrick Vieira has said he is shocked at reports that the France coach Laurent Blanc and other officials discussed introducing quotas to limit the number of non-white players in the national team set-up. The French website Mediapart alleged last week that plans to restrict the numbers of black players and those of north African origin entering national training centres at the age of 12 were discussed at a meeting in November between Blanc, the French Football Federation technical director François Blaquart, the Under-21 coach Erick Mombaerts and the Under-20 coach Francis Smerecki. Blanc strongly denied the story on Friday, telling L'Equipe: "This project does not exist. All that, for me, is false." Blaquart was suspended from his post on Saturday, pending the outcome of investigations by the FFF which began this week. The Manchester City midfielder Vieira told Le Monde: "This story is scandalous. I'm shocked. I would never have imagined that the football chiefs in our country could have such conversations about the France team in the body of the federation. Never. I know Laurent Blanc, I've always had a good relationship with him. I don't believe he's racist, but I'm surprised as to the degree of his comments. "When I read that he has said, 'The Spaniards, they don't have a problem because they don't have any blacks' or 'What is there that is big, strong, powerful? The blacks', it's scandalous. These are serious comments. People can tell me what they want, but no one was trapped during this meeting. No one was forced anyone to say these comments and still they said them. It's a fact, that's shocking." Vieira, who was born in Senegal and moved to France as a child, questioned the decision to single out Blaquart, who denies any wrongdoing, for a suspension. "It's difficult to suspend just one person when others had the same type of discussion," he said. "It would have been more logical to suspend everyone who, like him, said the same things. It's not up to me to say who should go, but I would not have been able to understand how these directors, who were at the meeting, could stay in their jobs. "If these people stay, then that's the door open to all discriminations. If football really wants to fight against this scourge, if the FFF want to show that they have the values of the Republic, then there are strong decisions that must be made. They shouldn't forget that they are the elite of football. It's they who will design the French football of tomorrow. It's they who are supposed to defend community harmony." Not sure how true this is, but surely has to go if it comes out. This is like racism and shit man.

I'm having two goals if we beat them away.

Who, in particular, do you think needs replacing? Goalkeeper, perhaps need a steady old head to help out Szczęsny and obviously get rid of Almunia but not as pressing as before. Out of the defence Djourou is solid enough squad player but that really should be it, Sagnas alright and Vermaelens good enough but the rest are poor, eboue is a walking natural disaster when he plays Clichys gone way back on where he was and Koscielny and Squillaci are very poor so get rid of those 4. In midfield were I Wenger i would honestly think of moving Fabregas on, he just doesn't look terribly interested in being an Arsenal player anymore, Denilson, lord knows how hes an Arsenal player and theres a need for a real dm to just give some extra backbone to your midfield. Forwards, as good as Arshavin can be perhaps time to move him on, he's just not showing it regularly enough Rosiciky again how is he an Arsenal player, Bedneter needs moving on fast offers nothing to arsenal. I'd give Chamakh another season to see if he adjusts to English football but Arsenal need a proper reliable striker because as good as Van Persie is when fit, you just can't rely on him. There are a lot who are just going through the motions and look like they won't make the step up it take to win the league.

Same, who gives a fuck if he's gone however-many years without a trophy? That's normal in the life of a football club, he should be getting nothing but respect for what he's achieved. I'm not talking about the trophies I'm talking about his recent petulant behaviour, stubborness to change key things and his general Gallic countenance.

The thread title is attention grabbing I grant you and dare I say a touch frivolous. The subject matter is your third para.

I agree with you gash. I heard that in a girls voice.

Hovering around the top 10...Lost a lot of points chopping and changing like a ferret on heat.

One of the best posts ever on N.O. My hat off to you Sir! It used to be that One or two of them would just run through the middle I'm thinking Fabregas or Nasri but they seem to have stopped doing that. When they do it, it causes the 2nd def line to lose sight of the strikers and also lose shape. I did also note that when Chamakh came on VP dropped off a bit and started laying on some very nice mid range passing creating gscoring opp's with a couple of them. As you say, you only have to look at where Evra ends up when MU are attacking and the sad camp Clichy sticks to just past the half way line.

...and that my friend is Wengers fault. His stubborn reluctance to get his side the two or three players it has needed now for three or four years.

Yeah it's just bad luck. You're right.
